Description:

Marilyn (aka Nori aka Sparky) is now under the care of Whiskers Mini-stop. She still is waiting for her home, or a ride back to the States to reunite with her rescuer.

Marilyn is still waiting for that special person. She promises to be crazy, cuddly, smart and extra lovable! Her New Year's Resolution is to bring smiles and chaos and amusement where ever she goes.

Marilyn is a larger-than-life character that's sweet, sensitive and intelligent. She's also a bit mischievous, extremely keen of wit and not to be bullied by anyone. She's also quiet beautiful and she knows it, but her beauty is not a blonde facade. Mostly because she's not blonde. She does have a beauty mark on her face though!

Marilyn is a major lover who enjoys cuddling, being picked up and smooshed. She just purrs and purrs. She also makes a pretty good furnace when she snuggles down on your legs or a vibrator that messages your chest. She enjoys being touched so much that even getting eye drops starts up her motor. However, her favorite thing in the world is not cuddling... it's playing FETCH! She loves, loves, loves to play fetch, much like a dog. She also adores boxes and balls, much like any other kitty.

She also is good with other animals she's been introduced to properly. However, like most stars, she's prefer not to share the spot light unless her co-star is of the same quality. However, she's probably love more adoring fans (children) to play with and dote on her!

She's full of spit and fire with no health problems. She's not been spayed yet (almost old enough but not quite), but she's gotten 3 rounds of vaccinations and has started her heartworm prevention medication. She has also received her rabies vaccination.

Marilyn is waiting for her big break.

She's a one-of-a-kind blend of wild yet classy, playful yet chill and fierce yet gentle. If you're interested in adding this little lady to your home or have any questions about her, please feel free to send an email or application to the contacts provided.

Rescuer: Nori had been meowing outside for 3+ weeks. She's very young, and it's likely that her mother is either dead or has abandoned her.
This little kitten is super sweet, and has SO MUCH love to give. All she wants is to be held and pet and cuddled and told that yes, we do see her and know she's there.
We started out calling her "Norae" ("노래") because of all the "singing" she's been doing outside, but ended up calling her "Nori" instead. Nori is Japanese for "dried seaweed."

Marilyn is so cute! I sure do wish I could cuddle cuddle cuddle her!

Her newest hobby is called tackle the dog and make him trip over himself to get away. It's funny for me, fun for her and annoying for the dog. Oh well.

Nori has her 3rd set of kitten shots today. She was just as good this time as she was last time and both the vet and the receptionist remembered her. The vet said she was a very good cat, haha. She didn't even squirm when she got her shot. She also got her monthly dose of heartworm medication. Next month she will need to have a blood test done to check her antibodies - if it is high enough she won't need anymore vaccinations!

Last night, Nori finally got the mechanics of fetch (we've been working on this for awhile). This is awesome for wearing her out before bed so you can spend the night cuddling for warmth.

Nori had two big events happen lately.

First, she has learned to play fetch completely. She will now instigate the game if she is bored! This means that she is back to sleeping through the night again despite her wayward teenage instincts.

Second, she was exposed to another dog and after about 30 minutes of stalking the dog, screaming death threats and generally being a big bully, she decided the dog was probably okay. And watched the dog snore like a creeper for another 15 minutes before giving her blessing. She is now cool with the dog completely. So she can get along with new animals after a brief temper tantrum :)

Hope she will find a forever home soon! Perfectly adorable and she seems so smart:)

Thank you. She's incredibly smart. We are working on toilet training right now and she's "getting" it slowly. The cat litter is a disaster in my tiny little shoebox apartment, so if she can "get" the toilet training, it'd be a huge blessing!

Last night one of my former dog fosters came over for a visit. The cat was not impressed, haha, but by the end of the evening she was just relaxing on the bed with us humans and the two dogs. I don't know how she'd get along with other cats, but so far she'd done great with all the different dogs and people!
