Description:

-June 10th-
After a week of living under a trial adoption, I am happy to announce that Fiddy will be adopted. Fiddy adapted really well to their home and became pals with the kitten they rescued.

-June 02-
Fiddy is currently having a trial adoption. Will let you all know if the potential adopter wants to make Fiddy his.

-Update May 8th-
Fiddy is such a sweet cat. I brought in another cat (Danchoo) to my house and he was really depressed. Here is Fiddy trying to help Danchoo feel comfortable in my home. Fiddy is a good big brother. ^^

-Update April 20th-
Hello, I'm the new person taking over Fiddy's profile. Fiddy has been in my foster care for the past 4 weeks now. When Fiddy first arrived at my house, he was a bit wild, scared, and moody. He clearly still felt the effects of being abandoned, and didn't trust anyone.

After two days, he was still a scared little kitty, but he developed a trust for me, and felt safe whenever I was around. Like when a child feels scared, often they'll only feel safe when they are in the arms of their parents. That's how Fiddy was with me. He would always follow me around the house and wanted to sleep on my lap or next to me in bed while purring really loudly. I could really feel his pain, and did my best to comfort him as best as I could. This continued for the first two weeks he was with me.

However, Fiddy has now completely grown out of his scared stage, and has become a normal cat. Now he's so demanding of me, and has pretty much taken over my house....LOL. Don't worry, he still loves to curl up on your lap and sleep next to you at night.

For the potential adopter. Fiddy still gets scared when he sees new people, but if you're patient to spend time with him, it shouldn't take more than a day or two to get him to open up to you. When guests come over to my house, I can hold him and he won't run away. Right now, I think he's just a more of a curious scared rather than being scared.

He gets along with other cats, and doesn't seem to mind dogs.

I welcome any potential adopter to come to my place and meet Fiddy.. If you think Fiddy is a good match for you and want to adopt him, please contact me, and I'll send you an application form.

*Formerly Watson, lol!*

Someone else will be taking over this profile, so you can expect to see new updates/other changes. Please note that the contact information will be different!

Yes ladies and gentlemen, the Doctor is IN!
Homesick? Cuddle Watson.
Bored? Play with Watson.
Sad, lonely, otherwise unable to be social? Pet Watson.
Mother nagging you about taking responsibility for your life? Show her you buy Watson cat food and kitty litter all the time!
Friends having babies? Watson will be your baby! (Bonus: No 3 AM diaper duty.)
Watson is the best doctor in the world, and for the low low price of a lifetime commitment and unreserved love, he'll purr all your problems away!

(Sorry, but Fiddy just wasn't working for me. I sort of copied/stole the name Watson from the jindo pups...and I do love Sherlock Holmes.)

Fiddy's ear infection has cleared up, and today he was neutered. No kitten support for Fiddy! Now we'll work on getting him up-to-date with vaccinations. There are some new videos of Fiddy, too. Lastly, a few people are interested in meeting him. Yay for Fiddy! (3/24/2013)

The poor guy! His temp foster parent took him to the vet, who said that his ear infection was STILL really bad! I'm not even sure if the previous vet did anything to help it. His little ear looked terrible. Right now he's getting medicine, and sadly wearing the cone of shame. After 6 days he's going to be done with that, the infection will hopefully be cleared up, and he can get the old snip-snip. His foster parent reports that he hasn't done any spraying *knock on wood*. Fiddy's even allowed him to pick him up and pet him gently on the back a little. He's clearly happy to be out of his cage at the vet's, and back to being adored. (3/9/2013)

My landlord/school has decided to fix the problems in my apartment, meaning Fiddy's streak of bad luck continues. I don't even know where I'm going to be living. Can you provide a temporary foster home for this cuddle bug? (3/7/2013)

Fiddy's been having a hard time of it. His foster mum had to run home on an emergency, and won't be back. Being the loving parent that she is, she took Fiddy to a vet's to board him while his ear infection clears up, even though it's very expensive. Soon this sweet boy will need to be taken from the vet's, moved across country, neutered and adjust to a new home filled with a person he's never met before. I'm sure if you were to ask him, he'd say all he wants is a loving home to call his own! (3/3/2013)

Here is what Fiddy's previous foster mum says about him: "He's(8 months old) not fixed but very cuddly. A little shy at first, but he loves attention and being held.
He currently has an ear infection which needs to be taken care of. Because of this, he hasn't been vaccinated yet. But I'm also willing to give money to pay for the cost of all of this. I just want him to have a good home and be safe and happy." (2/25/2013)

Right now, Fiddy's previous foster mum has put down a huge sum of money to give him a safe, temporary place to stay at the vet's. He still needs his vaccinations and the old snip-snip. ;)

***Fiddy's adoption fee will go towards helping other cats get spayed/neutered or help to get them up-to-date on vaccinations.***

Adoption Fee: ₩100,000

We don't know how Fiddy got these scars, but you can see how bad his ear infection is.

p.s. You can see how quickly he's becoming comfortable with his temp. foster parent. If you turn the volume up, you'll hear him purring. :)

How sweet he is! The scars look so bad but it is fortunate that it is not as bad as it's seen. He deserves a permanent loving home!

megs's picture

Yes, he most definitely does!

I'm temporarily fostering Fiddy right now, and I can tell you that he's an amazingly sweet and affectionate cat. He loves to snuggle up next to you when you're sleeping and loves to jump on your lap. Now all he needs is a permanent loving home, and I guarantee that he'll be a wonderful addition to your family.

Well well, look at him now. :) Poor displaced Koko! But you can see they're getting more comfortable with each other.

This is when Fiddy still needed his Cone of Shame. How sweet he is, to have been through so much trauma and still be a love muffin!

New photo of Fiddy and Koko chilling together. They had a bit of a rough start in the beginning, but have calmed down quite a bit.
