3/15.. Leila recieved her health check with vaccinations, and is HEARTWORM NEGATIVE!!!!!!! Shes all ready for her forever home!
2/28.. Leila is still waiting. Shes a special girl, who wants to spend the rest of her years living in peace with lots of love.
1/1.. Leila was full love force today and mama bear with the 2 pups. She wouldnt let me get away without belly rubs, snacks, and rolling her up in the blankets for play.
12/6.. Leila along with all the asan dogs' got a special visit from Santa this past weekend! As you can see from her new default, Leila attempted to sneak away with Santa.. posing as a reindeer!! She did exceptionally well with Santa and his helpers, enjoying the 1:1 time and sharing her 2012 wish "To NOT spend another winter or year at Asan! -- She loves all of her dog friends, and the volunteers.. but longs for a forever family that will give her a true home. She wants all you out there to know just how cold the shelter gets, and asks that a special someone give her the chance to prove herself.."
This girl is a beauty. Leila spent the past weekend keeping an eye on all the shelter volunteers. She spends her time roaming around, looking for someone that will spoil her with a little extra attention (and maybe a few extra treats!) Leila is a small dog, and wants nothing more then to love and be loved in return. Whether you like going for walks, hiking, or just spending your nights at home.. this is the girl for YOU!! She catches the eye of everyone around her and would fit into any home. She is a charmer, and gives you those.. "Are you my new Mommy or Daddy!?" eyes. She will do great in a home, and is awaiting her chance to prove that. Please consider this sweet little princess.

I spent time with her today. She is so gentle and she mostly wanted to be held and stroked. I walked back to the back pen where there are about 10 dogs to get a dog to spend some time with, and she put her paws on the fence, standing on her back legs, and stared at me intently and soulfully, "Pick me, pick me!" And I did. Now it's your turn.

Hi my name is Leila. I’m a polite and well mannered lady. I lost my home last year just before last Christmas and am now looking for a loving home to spend the rest of my life. I get on well with other animals.
I am quite active and love to play and go for walks. I love company and will curl up on your lap or share the lounge with you while you watch TV.

Who wouldnt want me?? I'm... Quiet, well mannered, good with other dogs, walk great, eat even better, lovable, a people pleaser.. and most importantly; simply amazing!!!! Your perfect dog all wrapped into one. This little girl will need very little training (as shes already perfect!!), and will easily fit into your home.

Leila is a beautiful mix. She is a lovely girl who is very friendly, sweet and curiuos. Leila is treat motivated, loves people and a real delight. She is very gentle, kind and has a great personality. Leila is loving good on a leash. She is a real nice and fun dog and will make a great companion to a loving home.

This picture is also from the 17th. This sweet girl was out with some teenagers. She was so happy to have her belly rubbed! She's such a doll and LOVES cuddling. I can see her on someone's lap watching chick flicks... that would be the life for this sweet girl! She also loves walks so it's the best of both worlds! She will explore with you and then at the end of the day curl up with you! :) aaaaaaah what a love.
