Description:

This is Bella! She's a beautiful 5 month old Jindo mix. Her mom was found pregnant on the streets of Gyeongsangnam-do. She gave birth to four pups: Bella, Daisy, the miracle pup who survived parvo like a champion, and brothers, Luke and Elliott, who were adopted to the States. All the pups found their way to Seoul through a kind-hearted volunteer who drove them all the way up and patiently dealt with their carsickness. It's really lucky for them, because they were definitely at risk for the meat-men. I've been fortunate enough to foster all four of these puppies and I have to say, it's a total mystery why Bella hasn't been adopted yet! In addition to being adorable, she's the sweetest, friendliest, puppy I've ever met! Everybody loves her.

Appearance:
Bella is golden all over. She has a black muzzle and a white chest. She also has a perfectly curly tail with a black tip; it's pretty much circular. She has loooooooong legs, so she's a tall pup! Her ears are standing, but the tips flop over. 2/4 of her littermates have standing ears, while she and her brother have slightly flopped ones. Her mother was like this as well, so I expect that they'll stay this way! (I love her ears) Right now Bella is around 7 kilos, but the vet says she'll be around 15kilos as an adult.

Personality:
Bella is about 5 months old now (6/22) so she's got a lot of energy and loves going for walks. She walks very well on her leash, and loves getting attention from people we pass on the street. Actually, she'll approach anybody. Man, woman, child, dog, grumpy old grandpa...anybody is a potential friend for Bella. She also gets along really well with other dogs. We go to a dog cafe about 3 times a week and she loves it there! She's actually learned the way and tries to lead me there when we leave the house. She's very well behaved. She never, ever, bites, snarls, or even "mouths". I've also never heard her bark! She likes being held like a baby and giving kisses. She also has that Jindo loyal streak in her: when we're at the dog cafe, she checks in with me every 5 minutes or so. She could be having the time of her life, but she always comes back to make sure I'm around! Bella is definitely a smart, sweet, and affectionate dog. She's always wagging that circular tail of hers!

Training:
Bella is 100% pad trained and about 50% housebroken. She will never go to the bathroom anywhere but the pad that I put down for her. She prefers to go outside now, but she can't hold it for the 8 hours while I'm at work. She's also quiet and well behaved in her crate. She does get car sickness though. As for commands, she learns very quickly. It takes about 1-2 days to teach her simple commands. She knows come, sit, stop, and wait right now.

Health:
Bella had to re-start her puppy vaccinations. She's on round 2 now and doing great. She has an umbilical hernia but the vet says it's nothing to worry about and that it will take care of itself. She doesn't have worms or fleas. She's a perfectly healthy puppy. There was a chocolate-eating incident a couple weeks ago. It seems that she's developed a taste for it, so her new family should be careful about that!

Ideal Adoption Candidate:
Bella is not a dog with special needs and she adjusts very well to new situations. The biggest consideration is that seems like she's going to be a medium-high energy dog. Somebody with a lot of time to spend with her or who has active hobbies would be great. She would also love to play with your kids or other dogs! She's such a wonderful pup, I would keep her if my circumstances were different. Whoever adopts this beautiful girl really will be lucky!
