Description:

This is the amazing Barry, he's a wonderful young spaniel with beautiful soulful eyes. This little guy was rescued from a kill-shelter. Poor Barry was doubly unlucky, as a black spaniel he was very unlikely to be adopted in Korea. But as soon as shelter owner Leo saw him he knew he had to save him. Little Barry was only about 6 months only and had weak back legs but Leo wanted to give him a second chance at life.
Since then, Barry has been doing great. He walks well and his strength has returned and he is able to happily bound about like any young dog. Barry is currently in foster care as he's too young to survive the rough shelter envrionment but he can't wait to move into his forever home. While in foster care Barry has show what wonderful little guy he is. Barry is such a fun and adventurous little guy and he is sure to make someone really happy. Barry loves running, jumping and playing with his other dog brothers and sisters.
If you are looking for a happy and playful puppy then please consider Barry.
We do our best at BAPS to make sure that the families are satisfied and the dogs are happy. We sincerely care about the well-being of our dogs and their new families. Therefore, there are a few steps you need to go through to be able to adopt a BAPS dog.
1) Please complete the adoption application. E-mail [email protected] for a adoption form.
2) To make sure new families are committed, we ask you to volunteer two week before taking the dog home. On the second week, after volunteering, you are welcome to take the dog home. Volunteers walk, play with, and pet shelter dogs on Sundays from 11-3.
3) After bringing the dog home, you'll get all the benefits of adoption, but the adoption won't be considered complete until a month long trial has been completed. This is just to make sure that the dog fits in with your family.
*BAPS also has a sponsorship program. Anyone interested can give 200,000 won for a dog to have their full health check, be neutered or spayed, and get any necessary dental work.

*Update February 3rd*
