Emi

When we first saw Emi, she was very sick. We took her to the vet immediately, and luckily, we had saved her just in time. With love and treatment, Emi grew into a beautiful dog. She just turned one, and is a very healthy dog. She is a Shiba Inu, so we gave her a Japanese name, meaning "beautiful blessing." She's a pretty independent dog.. and her actions sometimes resemble those of a cat. She is crate trained, but loves going out on walks. She is GREAT with other dogs. She plays well with our other two dogs, and she even gets along with other dogs that she encounters for the first time.

She is great with people, and we have never heard her growl at anyone. Honestly, we would really love to keep her, but because of recent developments, as with us expecting a child, we are no longer able to raise her. It is for financial reasons, and also because of pressure from our famiies to give away a dog. Originally, our families wanted us to give away all of our dogs, but we said that there was no way that we could do that. The only compromise we could come to was to give away one of our dogs. The reason why we had to choose to give Emi away over our other two dogs is because she is the most independent of our three dogs, and therefore, would probably be the least affected by the change of environment.
