Description:

Two awesome cats - home needed by Jan 1, 2014.

I am looking for a permanent home for my two amazing cats. I had a new home lined up with an experienced cat owner but his circumstances suddenly and unexpectedly changed so I am urgently looking for a home for them.

Gil is a male, 6 or 7 years old, while Snowy is a 3-4 (max) year old female. Both were rescued – Gil from the street as a kitten (hence his name) and Snowy from a snow drift last December (hence her name). Gil is desexed, Snowy is not -she wasn't in good health when I got her 12 months ago. She is now healthy enough for neutering.

I love these cats but am leaving the country and, due to Australia’s exceptionally strict quarantine laws, I cannot take them with me. Otherwise, I wouldn’t even be entertaining leaving them here as they are both calm, loving, whacky, ridiculous, friendly, sweet and affectionate companions. They are also very close friends and would be miserable if separated, so I would need someone to take both of them. They are a perfect mixture of independence and affection.
I have included a number of pictures below that I feel are more articulate at expressing their personalities and how much joy they bring as pets. I will provide a litter box, a cat carrier and whatever food, cat litter, toys, etc. that I have remaining. They are outstanding pets and will make anyone very happy. Please message me if you have any questions.
Cheers,
Matthew

Is there any possible way you can have them sent to you later? Maybe find a foster in the meantime? They just look so happy with you. I've shared their profile, and I hope you can find them a home if you can't take them. They look amazing; if I didn't already have a full house to transport home myself I'd seriously consider taking them. Good luck!

Thank you so much. I found a wonderful home for them with great people who will have them for a long time. It's a good outcome for everyone even though it's a sad one for me.
