I would love to introduce you to Tylee. She is a lovable feisty little kitten. She loves to play and chase everything and loves to be held and hugged and cuddled and pet. She fell asleep on my lap the other day and whenever I pick her up she just purrs and purrs. She love to investigate and be apart of what is going on.She is very attached to her sister so if possible I would love for their forever home to be together. But this is Tylee!!
And here are a few vids sorry they are such poor quality

*6/30- This oh so lucky little ladies just left with their new foster mom!!!! I will be having their account switched over to her, so keep an eye out for photos and progress reports! I am sure they will heal so much faster being with such a wonderful, loving person! No more cage and yapping dogs- only a peaceful home and a comfy kitty bed! My husband and I have never been so happy to see two of "our" kittens be fostered!
*6/23- Good news and bad news. The bad news first: As soon as they are better they will be returned to Jeonju's animal "rescue".. and uncertain fate. I fear, as per their policy, these tiny kittens will be released back to the streets : ( So, pleeeaase, I'm calling any big hearts out there to consider fostering these sweethearts. Unfortunately the clock is ticking. If we weren't leaving Korea in July we would do it, no question. The good news: Wow, these little girls are looking so much better! Their ringworm is drying up and flaking off; they were treated for parasites and their little bellies aren't hard and swollen anymore. They are more affectionate every day despite being wrangled, bathed, medicated etc. They'll be healthy and ready to go soon! We're just praying it's not back to Animal "Rescue."
Little Two enjoying being in Derek's gentle hands- she loooves people:

This is the living situation. If you want to/can change this please, please let us know- this is after we clean everything. When we get there everything, kittens included are filthy : (

*Update 6/19- Visited these guys last night. Gave them some yummy wet food and a good cleaning. They were dirty and wet from walking around in their water dish and litter box. Little Two started crying as soon as she saw us and when we opened the door to feed her, being so desperate for affection, she toppled right out! I added some pics and vids- I know they're not the most flattering images, but consider these guys are having a hard time right now. They just need a chance and some TLC. Everybody does. If you think you want to adopt/foster when they are ready, please let me know.

Little Two and her sibling, Little Three were brought to our vet by Jeonju's Animal Rescue a few days ago(June 20thi-ish). Their situation is pretty sad. These little guys have ringworm all over their little heads. They are currently being treated though and we're praying they overcome it quickly.

-in the video my husband says they'll be ready next week, but it will probably be at least another week and a 1/2. I will update about their progress.

So sad :'( They look so precious. I hope they recover quickly!!

What does the shelter's policy say that leads you to believe they will be released into the wild again? :( That is so sad to hear!

Hi papayapie. Our vet said Jeonju's Animal "rescue" (not even a shelter, really) is overrun with kittens and that they were going to be euthanizing them. It was policy to hold them for ten days for someone to claim them or for them to be adopted, but they don't have space. We told the vet not to euthanize and that we would try to find homes for some if he could get them to his office- Little One and Two came, but they had ringworm, from which they are recovering quickly. However, their ten days is actually up tomorrow, so he won't keep them much longer. In that case they will be returned to Animal "rescue" to be either euthanized or let go- at five weeks old!!! We are fostering 2 kittens now and are leaving Korea in July, and so cannot take them. We visit them every day and every day I walk back home crying. They are so, so sweet : ( Breaks my heart that over 140 people can look at their posts and not one be moved to help.

That's so horrible. I would love to take them both, but I'm a little concerned because I have a doggy at home that is only 2/5 of the way through his shot cycle, so I'm not sure how safe it would be for him to have the kitties around. Do you have any clue? Would it be okay?

Hi papayapie! Thanks for getting back so quickly!! I think it would be ok. I think most infectious diseases are species specific- it's parasites that that are more commonly/readily transferred between different species and these guys have been treated for parasites. I can talk to our vet about it tomorrow to make sure it would be safe. You canNOT imagine how much it would mean to us to place these guys in foster care! I am sure if we told him we had a foster home lined up our vet would keep them long enough for them to be fully recovered from ringworm- they're almost there- better every day. A little TLC goes a such a looong way : )

Amanda24601's picture

Yeah, from what I'm reading online right now- did a few searches- parasites pose a problem, and ringworm... but not infectious disease like leukemia... The ringworm will be dead and gone within a matter of a few days or a week, so that won't be a problem. We'll make sure it's 110% dead before you take them, if you decide that you can do so!

Amanda24601's picture

Hi! I talked to our vet and he said "no problem" about the dog as long as the ringworm is cleared up. He has been so worried about these guys getting placed as well. We told him we might have a foster home for them and his face completely lit up. He said he thought it would be impossible for someone to want them. He is giving them an extra UV treatment and another shampooing! They looked sooooo much better when we saw them yesterday! Please let us know if you can help, or if you might know anyone who can. Honestly we are desperate at this point. They've come so far, it would be devastating for them to be returned to animal "rescue".

Looking good!!! What a transformation from the first time I saw them! Broke my heart that they were only a few weeks old and were suffering so much already. I think God has great things in store for these two : )
