I'm happy to announce that the new links directory is ready for action! You can find it under the Resources tab or at www.animalrescuekorea.org/links. I've transferred some of the links from the previous directory (which is now closed), updated the descriptions and categories, and added new links as well.

It's wonderful to hear about so many people getting involved and taking the initiative on helping the animals in Korea! I've had a few questions lately about hosting "ARK events" for fundraising or promoting adoption and volunteering.

It's been one whole year (plus a week) since Abbey moved to Canada and joined our family! This little schnauzer girl, previously known as Shimmer, Grizzle, Rose, and Kila, was rescued from KARAMA in February 2010.

There are two messages you might see instead of content on the site:
A "Page Not Found" message means that the page you want does not exist. Most commonly, you've entered the URL incorrectly, or it has changed. Check your spelling or do a search to find the right page.

Counters for the number of views and number of comments have now been added to the adoption listings. You can also see the number of "reads" on regular pages as well.

We can now post images, links, and videos into comments which will make sharing information about animals and shelters easier. But there are a couple big differences I need to point out between the previous ARK forums and this new site:

You can now add videos in comments and in adoption and shelter listings. It's easy, all you have to do is post a link (not embed code)-- the URL will be converted and automatically appear as a video. This will work for videos hosted at Youtube as well as Vimeo.
