Chung Wha Animal Hospital

About This Clinic:

Chung Wha is a full service hospital with an excellent speaking staff and a generous 30% rescue discount for some services. They can usually fit you in without an appointment, but if you are in a rush or would like to make sure you aren't waiting around, I suggest making one ahead of time. (Especially if you plan on visiting during a Saturday) Unless it's an emergent situation, they don't do things like vaccinations/check-ups until after 1pm in the afternoon, since the morning is designated for surgical procedures. They also have an excellent pet-transport service and specialize in sending pets overseas/internationally. They can order pet food, supplies, and large crates as well, and most (if not all) of the vets speak excellent English.

I do not recommend this vet. They can speak English and that is why many foreigners use them. However, they take advantage of this by overcharging their clients by ridiculous amounts. When it comes to more serious issues, such as diseases that pose a threat to an animals life, the vet here is very incompetent and will try to fix it himself even though he's not qualified to do it.

Bottom line, this is a below average veterinary that charges as if they are the top qualified veterinary in Korea.

DO NOT GO HERE!

I agree with the comment above. I recently went here and they were going to charge me $500 for a minor teeth cleaning. After I told them the vet near my home charges $150 (depending on size of animal) they told me they'd give me a 'discount' to $230. They're full of crap!! They take advantage of foreigners. I could no longer trust them after this and I told them I will go back to my old vet. They now will not give me my dog's shot records.

I would NOT recommend this terrible vet. They cannot be trusted!!!
