Bedlam 베들

Tough and sweet. Cute and mysterious. Bedlam's a dog with many facets.
I've always been intrigued by her since I first saw her.

Bedlam arrived at the Ugidongmul shelter just after I left in March of 2011 so at first I only knew her through pictures and updates from volunteers. She has been at the shelter for over a year. When she first came to the shelter she had a skin condition on much of her body causing her hair to be thin and patchy. It has happily since been treated, but it caused her black hair to be tinged orange. This interesting colouration will likely(?) grow out and disappear in time, but I'm not 100% certain.

Her long fur brings to mind a Skye Terrier, although to be honest I don't know what breed she is. She is a small medium-sized dog, with a longer torso and shorter legs. She can balance on her hind legs pretty well (especially if someone is doling out treats!) She enjoys walks and walks well on a leash, although sometimes she does like to take the lead and pulls out in front. She is a tough little dog. She has her own dog house right beside Annie the English Bulldog. Annie does not get on well with smaller dogs but she and Bedlam seem fine as neighbours.

Bedlam enjoys people and other dogs but doesn't seem very needy. So she might do well in either a multi-dog or single dog household. She enjoys exercise but is not hyper active. Her coarse long coat is beautiful and practical as it protects her, but I bet she'd look like a completely different dog with a haircut.

She is the perfect size and would be a sturdy and steadfast companion.
