October 13th: Russia received heartworm prevention this weekend to make sure she remains healthy and adoptable! :)

October 6th: The question people always ask me about Russia is, "Why has she been waiting so long?" I wish I knew. She is smart, affectionate, beautiful, friendly, and gentle. Why she has been waiting so long is a mystery. Russia is an adorable dog with a lot of love to give --- she is just waiting to find someone to give it to.

September 22nd: Russia is such a beauty; both in terms of her personality and her appearance. She has a wonderful temperament and absolutely loves people. She deserves a real family of her own.

September 15th: One by one, Russia has watched as Ringo, Rosen, and now Rupert (yay!) have been adopted. When will it be her turn? She is an affectionate, beautiful dog who deserves forever happiness just like her brothers. Please consider helping this wonderful dog!

September 1st: It's hard to believe how far Russia has come from the shy, reserved puppy she once was. She is still all-puppy...but definitely not shy or reserved anymore! Russia loves going for walks and getting attention from the volunteers. She loves to be cuddled and pet, and would REALLY love someone who could shower her with attention and spoil her the way she deserves. :)

August 7th: Russia got a haircut this past weekend to keep her cooler during these unbearably hot summer days. I have no idea why such a sweet-natured dog is still waiting for someone to notice her. She has an excellent personality and walks well on her leash. She gets along fine with other dogs and loves people. She's a good size too; not too big and not too small. Come and meet Russia at Asan Shelter!

July 14th: Russia has become such a sweet, affectionate dog. She is doing well learning to walk on a leash, and is very happy to snuggle and give lots of kisses! Please don't let this sweet dog spend any more of her puppyhood at the shelter; she deserves a nice loving home to grow up in.

June 16th: Russia is growing up at Asan without a family or home of her own. She is such a sweet, energetic young puppy; I hope someone will scoop her up soon!~

June 2nd: Russia is waiting patiently for her future forever family to scoop her up and take her home....

May 20th: Russia is still waiting at the shelter. She is such a sweetheart and would love a forever home of her own. With those long legs of hers she'd be an excellent walking buddy and would whip you into shape in no time!~

May 13th: Russia and 2 of her siblings are still waiting for you to come and visit them at the shelter! They are growing up so fast, and getting cuter by the day. :)

April 28th: Russia and her brothers are getting big! They would love for you to visit them soon!~~

Russia is a friendly, sweet, healthy baby girl who was born at Asan a little over two months ago. Her mom was brought to the shelter already pregnant, and gave birth to a litter of four puppies. (3 boys and 1 girl) She is a little shier and smaller than her brothers, and not quite as fluffy. Her fur is more wiry, like a terrier, and she also has some brown whereas the boys are very white. These little cuties will be on the medium to small side when they are full grown I would guess, since their mama is not very big. The sooner they are adopted, the better!
