I have wonderful news! Pee Wee has been adopted by a wonderful Korean family! He is leaving today to go to the vet to get neutered and the shelter will follow through with the adoption process from there. This little guy gets a well deserved happy ending!

This weekend was a BLAST in Pee Wee land. Saturday was filled with a fun play date with a big lab mix and Pee Wee did wonderfully. Pee Wee will play with all, no matter how big, or how small. He did get a little over excited and ran into a piece of furniture and lost his baby tooth. It broke my heart to hear him cry and then to see his teeny little tooth dangling, but after just a few minutes he was back to eating leaves and frolicking through the grass. What a champ! The tooth was already loose because there is a shiny little white one already coming in. All is well!

Things have just clicked with Pee Wee this week! I can officially say that he is house broken and uses wee wee pads like a boss! He also loves going on walks and goes up and down the stairs like he owns them. He owns the streets, the stairs, and the pads. He is a killer.

Pee Wee is also able to run wild and free through the house when we leave too. We leave his little kennel (or "home" as we like to call it,) open and most of the day he chills in there with all of his favorite toys and usually one of my slippers.

This little champ is such a great little guy and really such a lover! I cannot wait to see what lucky person gets to have him as a permanent member of their family!

What a big weekend for Pee Wee! We decided to get him outside and used to being on a leash. Some might think that a very small and almost hairless (but not for too much longer) pup would not enjoy the outdoors, but not this man! He loved the outdoors and though he was a little hesitant with stairs, he was exited to try new things. We went on a 5 plus hour hike for his first outdoor adventure which seems a little extreme, but he is a very adaptable guy! We walked him a bit during the hike and praised him when he used the bathroom outside. When he got tired or cold we put him in a nice warm and padded bag and he quietly and patiently relaxed. He would sometimes poke his head out to check out the action. We were so impressed with Pee Wee because he was even silent on the subway. He really is an adventure dog at heart.

You might have noticed that Pee Wee's adoption price has gone up. I am fostering him from a shelter and this adoption cost covers neutering, shots, and blood testing. This is a very small price for the years of companionship and fun this guy will inevitably bring!

Pee Wee dominated at using the wee wee pads over lunar Holiday! He is a champ! We have seen some regression now that we have gone back to work, however I think that is normal for pups. 2 steps forward and 3 steps back kind of deal. We are still going in the right direction and that is all that matters. We have also noticed that he loves people so much that we think he might get a little upset when we leave, and not follow the potty rules as well right when we get home. Am I giving him too many human emotions? What would Cesar say?

The big news in Pee Wee's life is that he is now sleeping in a "big boy bed." We now allow him to sleep in his little sleeping carrier by our bed, and (here's the kicker) we leave the door open! He has taken little bathroom breaks throughout the night and has been very responsible. We are proud of our little man growing up!

Since Pee Wee is a puppy he does like to chew on zippers and can sometimes venture into uncharted territory, but he is easy to distract. We made a can with some coins in it, so if he is biting a bit we just shake the jar and the noise makes him stop. Then we just put a toy in his face and it is like Christmas morning for him!

Pee Wee is still a lover of all and always ready for a party! I took him to a puppy cafe yesterday and he was playing with all of the dogs! I would also sometimes find him on strangers laps. He is a lover of all species and makes friends fast! I cannot wait for his hair to grow back because this guy will be so much fun outside. He seems to always be up for adventure and a snuggle.

I was just informed that the shelter that I am fostering from has a 150,000 won adoption fee. This will cover neutering, an antibody test, vaccinations, and a rabies shot. This is honestly a fantastic deal for all of this, and then you will get the healthiest and happiest pup ever! You won't miss those won!

We have a few interested in Pee Wee so please continue to contact me if you have any questions, we want to see him in the best home for him and his future family!

**Update on Pee Wee:
We have only had Pee Wee a little over a week and he is doing a little better on his house training. We have discovered that he does much better when we are at home. He is a definite people lover! His favorite things are to play and then snuggle and then play. I have even taken him over to friends houses and I just hold him the whole time and take "potty breaks" by bringing a wee wee pad and placing it in the bathroom. He loves it! He is a perfect travel sized guy!

Pee Wee does cry a bit when we leave him in the cage, but we have noticed if he has had enough exercise that day he puts himself to sleep! 9:00 pm seems to be his bedtime that he chooses. Because it is still too cold out for him we have started wrapping him up in a blanket and taking him for walks. He really loves it and gets lots of attention from others. He is very curious about the outside world and he gets tired out from looking at all that is has to offer.

We are still working on walking up and down stairs and will consistently focus on his crate training. He is just such a fun, lovable, and sweet little guy!

You know you want him!

Pee Wee is a 6 month old miniature Poodle that was given to a local vet and was living in a small cage with tons of puppy energy! We have taken him as a foster and are enjoying his feisty and loving spirit! Pee Wee is a quiet guy that just wants to gallop around with a toy in his mouth and play with anyone or anything. He is great with kids, dogs, and even cats! He definitely is a little shy at first, but after a few minutes warms up and is back to prancing and playing (he really is pretty good at it.)

We are so happy to announce that Pee Wee is heart worm negative! His next big adventure will be a trip to get neutered. Keep this on the DL though because it hurts his feeling when we talk about it.

Pee Wee is still learning how to use wee wee pads, but gets it most of the time. I would even venture to give him a 70% score with number 1's. He is still discovering the art of the number 2, and needs a little more guidance in this area. In a few weeks this guy will be a pro with the 1's and the 2's. I can feel it.

Pee Wee was shaved and it is just too cold to take him outside so he hasn't gotten too much experience with a leash. We will start training on that soon, but at this point in time he is just so happy galloping, frolicking, pouncing, and chewing on his toys in the house he doesn't even seem curious about the outside world. It will come soon enough.

I will continue to update on this quiet and happy little man and share all of his big deal moments. I am sure there will be many of those in the very near future!

Please consider taking this little guy into your home. He is just too much fun to miss out on!
