Update:1 August 2013
Cocka landed safely in Seattle and quickly won the hearts of all those around her. Within a few DAYS of being in her foster home with the rescue group she was adopted by a wonderful family. I can't wait to see photos of her in her forever home! Thank you Terri, for giving her this opportunity!!

Update: 19 July 2013
An amazing lady in Seattle who runs a cocker spaniel rescue group has agreed to take Cocka & find her a forever home! So on the 27th, Cocka will be flying to the USA to start her new life. I will update with pics as soon as she gets there! Good luck sweet girl!

Update: 3 July 2013
I went to see Cocka again yesterday and surprise! She's had a haircut! Hahaha, sweet girl. Her luscious blonde locks have been shaved off but they will grow again beautifully! She is going mad in her small cage, but rather that that a kill-shelter! And amazing that my awesome vet is keeping her there, free of charge until I find her forever home. He is also doing all her vetting for free, because he is awesome. That said, she would much rather be in a home than in a small cage...

More amazing news for this girl is that there is a Cocker rescue in the States who have agreed to take her, if I can get her there! So, the process starts of looking for a courier and raising a bit of money for her flight.

How can you help?
1. Do you know anyone flying from Incheon to SeaTac in the near future? PLEASE ask them to be a courier for her! They would need to do NOTHING MORE than calling the airline and booking her on to their flight as accompanied baggage. It's as simple as that! I will do everything else! (Don't know anyone who is flying to SeaTac? Maybe you know someone who knows someone...! Please ask on your Facebook!)
2. Any donations, small or large, would be greatly appreciated. Please contact me for account details.

Update: 12 June 2013
Yesterday I went to visit Cocka & spent some time with her. As there were no other patients in the vet's he let both Cocka and Misha out to run around and gave them some rawhide chews. Both dogs were soooo happy and so lovely! I took some videos of them which I will post in the comments section below. She was only a tiny bit growly when Misha tried to steal her treat (nothing major), and allowed the vet nurses to manhandle her while she was gnawing with no problems at all. What a sweet natured girl!

What I know about her (updated):
1. Sex: Female (we do not know if she has been spayed).
2. Age: 1-2 years.
3. Personality: EXTREMELY friendly to humans and dogs. Seems to not mind the presence of cats but still hasn't been tested properly on this.
4. Health: Heartworm negative. Received h/w prevention. Her ear infection is now cleared. :)
5. Weight: 9kg - she is a really petite little girl.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

This adorable little girl was rescued from the streets by a kind passerby. The lady took the dog to my vet where she is currently staying & being treated for a mild yeast ear infection. The staff at the vet adore her & refuse to send her to a shelter...but at the same time they can't keep her in that small cage forever. My wonderful vet is doing her vetting and boarding for free & I said I would try help to find her a foster or forever home. Whenever I ask about how she is, their response is always a smile and "she's kind. Very, very kind." She's extremely friendly & gentle & seems bewildered as to why she is in a small cage & not in her home anymore... :(
