*UPDATE*

Kiddo was adopting today by a family in Pyeongtak. She will have a great time in their backyard and with their beagle, Max. Thanks everyone!

Kiddo is a very sweet dog. She loves being near people and gets along well with other pets, including cats! She is especially kind and gentle towards children. She has a lot of love and energy to offer to every species. Kiddo loves attention and exercise. She plays fetch and can be trusted in open areas as long as her owner is attentive. She knows nearly every simple trick in the book and learns quickly - even without constant treats, though she adores them.

Kiddo was taken as a stray from a veterinary clinic in Jeonju. They examined her and guessed her to be less than a year old. She’s a mixed dog, but appears to have some beagle or terrier in her. She was found roaming the streets and the vets happily took her in. She was taken out of the clinic a few weeks afterwards, very thankful to be out of a cage. Her foster mom has been giving her all of the possible training she would need to be settled in a comfortable environment.

She is potty trained, but needs to be taken out at least twice or possibly three times a day to do her business. Kiddo is also a very energetic dog so she loves running and sniffing around. Anyone who enjoys jogging or hiking would be a perfect match. Kiddo has also been known to run alongside a bike to release her energy. She is crate-trained and loves sleeping next to her owners. She's on the small-medium size, about the size of an average beagle. She's slightly thin and could use a few more pounds. Kiddo is up to date with all of her shots and has been spayed. Her foster parent used to train dogs and recommends that potential owners be willing to take Kiddo for a long walk at least one a day. It’s a great way to bond with your pet! Kiddo would fit in well with a family or a single parent with the time. Kiddo doesn’t need a lot of toys, but loves to chew on bones. She also loves to be challenged with games. Her training has been basic. She can sit, lay down, stay, rest, roll-over, bow, shake, and wait. She understands all of these commands by hand movements as well as when verbally spoken. She’s walks well, but since she tends to lead with her nose, she still pulls a little. She understands heel, but typically listens better once she’s had some exercise. Kiddo definitely needs an owner who is willing to be a leader, as she feels more comfortable being a follower. She also behaves much better. She’s overall a very well-behaved dog who needs an owner who is patient and stern. Kiddo is currently staying with a foster home in Jeonju, but would love to be taken into a forever home. As his foster mom is leaving Korea soon, this home is unfortunately only temporary.
