*Update November 6th*
Congratulations, Wendy. You now have a wonderful forever home, just in time for winter.

*Update September 25th
Wendy is still doing well in her foster home and it looks like it will soon become her permanent home. We are all keeping our fingers and toes crossed and hoping that we'll be able to move her to the adopted section soon!!

*Update-September 1st*
Wendy is doing really well in her foster home. Hopefully this will turn into a forever home for Wendy.

*Update-July 27th*
There is good new for little Wendy, it looks like someone is interested in adopting her. Hopefully if all goes well Wendy will have a forever home.

*Update-June 28th*
Wendy has now finished her heart worm treatment but unfortunately she came down with a case of scabies. She will stay with her foster mom until she is fully fit and ready. Wendy's foster mom has said she is a wonderful girl who loves nothing more than having her belly rubbed.

*Update-April 8th*
Foxy little Wendy is a very lucky puppy. This beautiful little girl has heart worm but on Sunday she went to a foster home to receive treatment. Wendy will be in foster care for 2 months to fully recover but after her treatment she will be looking for her forever home. Wendy is a sweet little girl who loves human affection and having her belly rubbed. Please consider giving Wendy a home.

*Update-March 26th*
Cute little Wendy had a great weekend. Normally, Wendy will walks with the rest of the BAPS dogs but last Sunday she was out walking with just a few volunteers and 1 other dog. Wendy loved the peace and quiet. When I sat down with her she rolled on her back looking for belly rubs. She was so cute and much more affectionate that I have seen her before.

There was also great news for Wendy on Sunday. Due to the very successful fundraising at "Music For Mutts 2" Wendy will shortly begin treatment for her heart worm. The lucky girl will spent 2 months in a foster home receiving treatment and recovering. We hope that this will give foxy little Wendy a new lease of life and the chance to live in a loving home.

*Update-February 27th*
I will be out of the country for a few months so a lovely volunteer named Claire will be taking over my profiles to make sure they don't expire! You can contact either of us with any questions, but she will be faster to answer. However, I am still more than willing to help if you need me:-)

*Update-February 4th*
Wendy is so small and foxy. She's a real sweety who still needs someone to take her in for 2 months so she can receive heartworm treatment. Please consider helping Wendy!

*Update-January 15th*
Wendy finished her vaccinations last weekend and had a nice volunteer day on Sunday, walking around and enjoying everyone's company!

*Update-December 30th*
Wendy didn't do much walking today, instead she stayed cuddled up nice and warm in someone's big coat! She loved it. She needs a forever home somewhere nice and warm.

*Update-December 23rd*
Wendy was able to get out for a little bit apart from the other dogs. She is in heat now so can't be walked with everyone but a volunteer showed her lots of love! She got her second round of vaccinations today and did great!

Here is Wendy, a foxy mix who is smaller than she looks from the pictures! She is one of the 12 dogs of Christmas at BAPS! She just came from the pound November 29th so is still adjusting to shelter life. She is about 2 years old and truly adorable. When I first met her, I got into her cage with her and her cagemate and although she didn't curl up into my lap and snuggle, she stood on my lap the whole REALLY enjoying the petting. She ignored her cagemate's attempts at picking a fight, although when out of the cage she should be watched carefully around other dogs. She growled and nipped a couple of times when all the dogs were out together. She even tried to bite me once when I was putting her harness on and about to pick her up. I think she was just scared and nervous, though, so I don't think that's anything to worry about. She does fine on the leash, although she can't go for extensive walks yet since she isn't fully vaccinated.

Medical information:
Wendy has received one round of vaccinations and should get the next round next Sunday.
She hasn't been spayed and seems to be in heat now.
Unfortunately, poor Wendy has heartworm. She needs a foster or forever home soon so she can begin treatment.

Since she is a BAPS dog, anyone interested in fostering or adopting her will need to complete the adoption application (http://www.animalrescuekorea.org/adoption-application) and volunteer two Sundays in a row (from 11-3) at our shelter. For an adoption, one must complete a month long trial to make sure you and the dog are a good fit! You can visit the shelter page for more information!

BAPS also has a sponsorship program. Anyone interested can give 200,000 won for a dog to have their full health check, be neutered or spayed, and get any necessary dental work. If you are interested in sponsoring Wendy, please let me know!

Any idea what kind of mix she is? She looks a LOT like my Buffy and I'm still trying to figure her out.

Wendy is a WONDERFUL pup! I have been fostering Wendy for her heartworm treatment and would love to find her a permanent home. She is fully house-trained and rarely barks. She gets along fine with other dogs, however she is much more interested in her humans. She is very affectionate and LOVES having her belly rubbed. I hope this little girl finds a loving forever home soon.
