Ilsoon-Pretty Lady In Waiting

Well I can't say I'm surprised...Ilsoon's foster dad fell head over heels in love with this little girl and has decided to make her a permanent part of his family!! Her new name is Cookie and she looooves to be stroked. She also insists on sleeping on the bed. (I say lower your winter heating bills! Adopt a shelter dog or cat!) :) Yay Cookie!! I'm so happy for you!!

Fabulous news! Ilsoon went into foster care today! I am so looking forward to hearing how she adjusts back into home life and I just hope the same fate awaits her brothers and sister too.

Ilsoon is a very pretty little lady in waiting! All she needs is a little TLC and she'll blossom in front of your very eyes!

Ilsoon, as well as her 4 siblings, all have a sad story. They were born into a loving family. They lived happily together for years, until one day everything changed. Human mom fell in love with a man whose family said no to dogs. Human mom married, moved out of her family home and left the 5 dogs with their lovely human grandmother.

Then, lovely human grandmother got VERY sick and the doctor advised her not to have so many dogs in the house. It was with great difficulty that the ladies decided to board their 5 dogs at the shelter, in the hope that one day things would return to normal and they could be reunited. Sadly, it didn't.

Ilsoon and her 4 siblings (Samdol, Wilde, Eedol and Osoon) have been at the shelter for a few years now. Now their human mom has decided to do what is best for them and allow ARK to give them each a chance to be a part of a loving home once again. Let's get these kids out of the shelter!!

- All the siblings have been spayed/neutered.
- All of them are timid by nature, but not aggressive. Once you've gained their trust, all they want to do is cuddle and be loved!
- All of them lived indoors but peed and poohed in a designated balcony area or the yard. They will probably need a little reminder or two about their house-training.

Ilsoon was badly bitten on her back while at the shelter so she had surgery/stitches in spring of this year. It has healed up nicely now, although at one stage it was looking pretty nasty.
