Sophie

Um, I've found the perfect cat. Sweet Sophie is absolutely gorgeous. Soft, light fur accented with chocolate brown on her legs, face, and ears and BLUE BLUE eyes.
Not only is Sophie beautiful, she's extremely well-behaved. She's completely litter trained (not a single accident!) and eats and drinks well (no yowling food reminders in the morning either!). I was initially worried after reading about the Siamese tendency to "talk" in a loud, low-pitch meow, but Sophie's been very quiet. She interacts with me, but it's never more than a quiet almost-crackling that escapes her throat (I know she can meow as she did on the subway ride home, but in my apartment she's been a gem). She does love to purr, though!

Best of all, she's an expert cuddler. She happily curls up in my lap or on my bed and keeps me quiet company -- perfect for fall's dropping temperatures! She's perfectly curious, but in five days has yet to get herself into a single mess (no knocking things over, no ripping down my wall hangings...). She plays occasionally, but is definitely more of a relaxed, affectionate cat -- a great fit for a small apartment or a family with children. She spent a few days in a home with several pets (dogs and cats) and managed nicely after a day of adjustment, so I'm fairly confident she'd do well in a multiple-pet household.
