Description:

Nabi is a lovely cat with very soft fur. He was found outside a veterinary clinic in a wire cage with a note attached saying "You can take this cat for free." The vet in the office said that Nabi's former owner gave him up but did not specify the reason. We were worried for Nabi's safety and found a foster to take him in. Nabi's foster adores him and this is what she has to say:

This lovely male cat was rescued from a cage in front of a vet's office in Seongnam. He's been staying with us for about a week and we've been calling him Nabi, a typical Korean cat's name :). Nabi was very shy and scared when he first arrived at our place and hid under the bed for about a day but since he came out he has been very affectionate and playful. He loves to rub up against our legs and hands and doesn't mind being picked up. His favorite toy is a stick with feathers on the end and he stalks and attacks it over and over.

During the day he still sometimes sleeps under the bed, but also likes to be on tables. He occasionally sleeps at our feet on the bed. He also likes to sit at the window and stare outside. He has the cutest meow and will respond with a meow if you call his name! He doesn't meow at night when we are sleeping, which has been a blessing!

The vet said he is about 3 years old and has had his shots. He is not neutered but we haven't had any issues with spraying or aggressive behavior yet. He is very well litter trained and has no eating problems.

We have already fallen in love with him but are not ready for a forever pet yet as we are getting married this year and will be moving and possibly going back to Canada. We hope we can find a loving home for him as he's obviously had some hard times in the past! I'm sure he'll fit right in in his new home!

* A few additional notes about this posting are that
1. Nabi is not yet neutered; however, we will have a vet do this before adopting him out. We will pay for the neutering cost as it is about 100,000won which is the same as the adoption fee.
2. The vet said that Nabi is a Russian Blue but he doesn't have papers. I doubt that Nabi is a pure bred cat, but he is very pretty and has a great personality. Please think of giving Nabi a home if you are searching for a forever cat!
