Hello

While walking my dog, we came across her sitting on a park bench. We thought she was injured as she didn't run away from our dog and wanted to play. So, immediately we knew we found a mistreated housecat.
She is very playful, with dogs and people. Not skittish at all. She loves to play. She is a turkish angora with one blue eye and one golden eye. Hence the name. Looks super cool. We took her to the vet and they will keep her for a few days and clean her up but we need to adopt ASAP. She has a time limit there and we are expecting our first child in one month so it won't be possible for us to keep her. Vet said she is healthy and probably only been outside for a few days. She is thin and not sure about vaccinations. We live in Seoul Nowon Gu Kongneung Dong.

Have you posted any flyers looking for an owner? It's possible she is lost, not abandoned.

I doubt that. She is very thin and has some fur patches missing. Cleary neglected. She is a very beautiful cat though, especially the eyes.

It doesn't take long for a housecat to look neglected after getting loose and living on the street... Can you ask your vet if they've checked any Korean lost/found websites? It is a requirement to look for the owner before listing a found animal for adoption.

Ok we checked the animal web sites with the vet and found nothing. The vet doesnt really believe that she just ran away. We wont put fliers in this neighbourhood as someone in this neighbourhood previously claimed a cat that wasnt theirs and was going to make hanyak with the cat beforw the person paid 200000 won to get her back. With all this commentary about golden eye she wont get adopted so i guess she will be back on the street. Please delete all commentary if u get the chance.

Thanks for checking the websites. Even if there's a small chance that someone is looking for her, I think it's worth checking.

The commentary above helps to clarify that you've tried to make sure she doesn't have an owner-- I think this will help her adoption. I don't see a reason to, but I can remove the comments if you add the info about looking for an owner into the main description.
