Description:

My husband and I have been in Korea for five years and plan to live here long term. This past year, my husband rescued a tiny four-week-old kitten from the rain, and she died on us in the first two weeks. It was heartbreaking. Soon after, we decided to rescue a brother and sister kitten pair from a Korean person we know who found a pregnant cat. My husband lived with a cat for 18 years and experienced slight allergies but nothing too serious. However, living with these two kittens in a small Korean-style villa, his allergies have become quite serious and he's been miserable on a daily basis. He took a MAST allergy test and found out he is allergic to cats at the same level he's allergic to shellfish--which causes him to go into anaphylactic shock! We so badly want to keep them, but the allergist thinks he'll develop asthma if we keep our kitties around much longer. I want to find a good home for our two kittens. They provide us much joy on a daily basis. They love to cuddle and play, and they meow out the window when they see us walking home. They take care of each other from morning to night while we are away at work. They love to sit on our laps, purr, and hold our hands. Arthur is the bigger of the two, and he's a playful, confident, healthy, and loves belly rubs. Scully is smaller and a bit of a scaredy cat, but still a sweetheart. She likes to hide behind Arthur or cuddle with me under blankets. She's currently sitting on my lap as I type this, and Arthur is on the desk with his paw over my arm. We need to find them a home as soon as we can, since my husband is miserable daily with his severe allergies. I've tried all the Korean online cat cafes but no bites. I am hoping I find Arthur and Scully a new loving family on ARK. Both are spayed and neutered and have been given booster shots (documentation available). We would also give you the kitty tower, toys, litterbox, litter, and a bag of food to start you off.

Please keep them both together! They are bonded with each other and a move will be stressful for them but having each other will make it much better. Many cat duos have found great homes through ARK and there are lots of people who know that adopting two bonded cats is even better than adopting one. They shower each other with love and cuddles, they play together, they are much better when you have to leave the house because they don't get too lonely and there are more little cat bodies to give you love and keep you warm at night. Please consider making only one profile for the both of them. :)

Unless I'm reading the rules incorrectly, I can't list them as bonded unless they're of different species. I would have done it otherwise. Let me know if you think I am allowed to list two cats together, but the rules seem very clear.

Litters can't be listed together but bonded pairs can absolutely be listed together. :) The rule is, "Make separate listings for individual puppies, kittens, etc. of the same litter-- list only animals who must be adopted together (ie. bonded pairs) together in one profile."

Thanks for clarifying, marlajoy, and sorry for the confusion preeoz! I was about to send you a message, but when I saw Scully posted separately I assumed that meant they could be adopted separately. This pair definitely look like they'd appreciate being kept together.
