So Heartman won me over and I am adopting him myself as my 7th cat:)

Heartman's armpit completely got healed by Calendula ointment!
But now he's having some dandruff so I am giving him baths with some medical shampoo.\
Other than that, he is such a doggy cat!!

Now he is on Calendula ointment followed by sugar theraphy...his armpit drastically getting better!!!
I also feed him fish oil due to his skin problem(dandruff!!). Other than that, he is one sweet chubby kitty:)

I renamed him "Heartman" finally and hope you like the name too:)
His armpit has been treated with aloe/sugar/calendula ointment so far and it's getting smaller and better.
I hope it will come to an end and see his clean armpit and no more cone life for sweet Heartman soon in the new year:)
His weight soared while he was healing during the past 3 months and I'm also trying to help put him on a diet..but he loves eating;;;; He turned in to a sweet chubby furry kitty from a scared hissing street cat.
He is very gentle with the other cats from day 1 and he will be good in a multiple cat house too. He was also nice to Stomper my rabbit when they were in the same room.

After a couple months of recovery his armpit was torn again. It seems his skin was not strong enough to endure his physical activity. He is on aloe therapy now and it is working.

Chungmyung was rescued in Yongtong Suwon in September, 2013 as a stray who had become a member of the colony in the neighborhood but unfortunately his collar was strangling his armpit.
He was sighted by someone who was walking a dog one night and after a week long try of trapping him, finally had him in the trap. Luckily the colony had a care taker who comes every day to feed them so I had to cooperate with them finally when we had to starve the whole colony for a couple nights to starve him enough to be lured into the trap. Oh well, so I was busy checking on him getting into the trap and the other cats who were also hungry. I had to put out food bowls for the other cats at the same time.
Immediately after trapping him, I took a taxi to our wonderful vet in Seoul with Chungmyung in the trap.
His armpit looked horrible when the vet cut the strangling collar.
Long story short, he stayed in the hospitale for 2 weeks getting 3 surgeries and one final check getting medical bond on his stitches.
Many people were worried because usually armpits do not heal fast and infection reoccurs. But not for Chungmyung!
His armpit is clean and waiting to get new hair grow back...hopefully...even not, it is all OK:)

He is still a bit timid but he loves his belly rubbed and he will come to you for food meowing at you. He got so big since he was trapped as he was a big eater!
He is good with my other cats and very gentle to them. My cats would bully him intead:P
