Onion

UPDATE: 1/4/13

Onion is still such a sweet cat; his wish for the New Year is to find a forever home. He wants to let you know that, "I'm such a wonderful cat...please consider me so that I can bring joy to you and your family!"

His personality and name don't match because Onion is very, very sweet. He is one of a litter of 6 kittens that I rescued; I thought that I’d name them after fruit and vegetables since I had so many kittens to name! Of course you can change Onion's name if you adopt him.

Onion follows me around and when I sit down he’ll come next to me and then looks in my eyes and says, “Meow”. I feel like he is telling me something……I think it is “Hug me!” When I hug him he stops following me. Onion frequently lies down so I can pet his stomach……he loves that……..When I’m watching the TV or using the computer I know that he is the kitty coming in the room to see me because he always goes “Meow” twice.

Onion is really, really friendly and so good with other cats. He grooms them and is never aggressive. He purrs when I hold him and pet him. He is so sweet that he “greets” anyone who comes to my home by approaching them and then smelling their clothes, shoes, etc. Onion also loves toys!! He goes crazy when I use the Laser Light Toy; it is so funny and cute to watch. I've posted a photo of him and his siblings and other cat buddies chasing the Laser light. Onion is the cat who has his paw on the light.

Onion desperately needs a new forever home along with his siblings: Purr, Circle and Mango. I've posted their Bios too if you are interested in adopting more than one cat. Otherwise, Onion is waiting to go to a new forever home; he'd make a wonderful companion for you, your kids and another cat if you already have one.
