looking for a LARGE DOG CRATE asap

Several ARK members, including myself, have been working on rescuing a chained dog from Seoul for the last two years. She has finally been taken in by a wonderful foster mom, and is doing well. We now have a family that would like to adopt her in the US. The cost of shipping a dog overseas is expensive as most of you are aware. We are trying to curb our costs as much as possible, and are looking for an AIRLINE APPROVED LARGE DOG CRATE to transport a beautiful Siberian Husky to the United States to her new forever home. If you have one that you are willing to sell for a small fee, or generously donate, PLEASE CONTACT ME ASAP. We have flight arrangements for the 15th of December. THANK YOU!!!!! :)

Any luck finding a crate for Hanari? There isn't much time left before the 15th :( I hope something works out soon!!

I dug up a link to the forum thread about her situation for anyone who wants to read more of her story, please see "Hanari the Chained Dog".

I just put a link to this at the ARK facebook site, too. How much do you need to get it all done?
Is it just the crate that you need as far as the donations go?

Hi Anne Marie,
Extra funds are always helpful so that us rescuers don't have to dig too deeply into our own pockets, but at this point a crate would be the most helpful donation. Even if one isn't donated, a used one bought for a fee would be much cheaper than buying a new one in Korea. They are so expensive there!
Thank you for your help!!!

She was unable to be booked onto the flight on the 16th with one of our fellow rescuers because the flight was full with animals already. Now we will have to ship her as cargo on her own, which significantly raises the cost of flying. So anything we can do to lower our costs is helpful. We had raised enough to get her shipped with a person, but now that the situation has changed, we are still looking for monetary donations as well.

Do you still need a crate? My friend got the wrong size crate for her dog, so I now have a crate appropriate for a 24 inch tall dog that I could give.

That's great news! I hope Hana had a great flight.

I've moved this thread out of the "Donation requests" and into the "Thank You" category.
Thanks for the update.
