Calling All Organizers!

ARK is not an official organization and does not accept donations or host events of its own. However, we maintain a list of shelters and rescue groups throughout Korea which have ongoing expenses and occasional emergency needs. Contact a shelter near you to find out if you can contribute to one of their fundraising events. It is always best practice to ask permission from the group you want to help before organizing any event on your own.

Types of Help Needed With Events

• Find a location to host an event
• Find sponsors to contribute prizes for games and draws
• Find musicians and entertainers
• MC the event
• Bake cookies, cakes, and other treats for bake sales
• Create promotional materials (fliers, pamphlets, banners, videos, or web ads)
• Distribute promotional materials
• Contact media (radio, TV, newspapers, magazines, blogs, expat forums, etc.)
• Promote the event with social media (Facebook, Twitter, Tumbler, YouTube, etc.)
• Help set up on event day
• Help clean up on event day
• Sell tickets at the door
