Lotto is a little shih tzu mix who was fostered by Thomas and Jess late last year from the Daejeon shelter. Mrs Jung (the shelter manager) cried when Lotto left, she told us Lotto was her favourite dog...
She is about 8 years old (we think), her eyesight isn't great but she is a wonderful dog otherwise - she is up to date with her shots and is house-trained. Below are some photos of Lotto at the shelter (on the left) and more recent ones of her at home. She is a lovely happy dog, we need to find her a permanent home before Thomas and Jess leave for the UK in September.
Please contact either Thomas (thomas.leach@hotmail.co.uk) or myself (tim.vasudeva@gmail.com) for more information about Lotto.
"I'll just tell you a bit more about Lotto. She doesn't really like other dogs but is quite happy to laze around by herself when we are at work. She is very very affectionate, the next owner can expect lots of hugs from.
She isn't trained, in terms of roll over and things, but she is quite obedient and in our neighbourhood doesn't need a lead when walked. I say quite because obedient because some days when she doesn't feel like walking or if it's raining she'll decide it's a walk is not something she is going to do.
She does have a very big personality will is evident straight away.
She is quite happy to do her own thing but if she wants attention you'll know.
She has been an excellent pet, very docile as well, I'm very sad to have to give her up but taking her just isn't feasible.
Anyway, I hope some of this random writing helped and thanks again."
Here is an update on Lotto from Nana and Justin, I will ask them to spost some recent photos.

"Nana may have more to tell you later, but rest assured that Lotto is making herself at home in our apartment and in our hearts. Other than a few housebreaking issues and her desperate need for a haircut, she has settled in very well. As you probably know, she's a charming little dog, and is already a big hit with our colleagues. She's an excellent walker, too--she barely needs her leash, but we keep her on because we're in a high-traffic neighborhood."

"She is doing very well. We had to get her basically shaved - Shih-tzu fur is pretty high maintenance even for veterans, and she had some matting. She is extremely chagrined about this undignified new look and is shivering cold, so we're leaving the AC off during the day and we'll go buy her a sweater tonight.
She has a great personality and practically prances around the neighborhood. She seems very proud to have people.
We'll keep you posted. I hope to take a picture of her looking kind of funny-adorable shaved to go on her Animal Rescue Forum site."
I'm not sure how to upload this picture, so I'm putting it as an attachment: Here is Lotto sticking her tongue out at my husband as he photographs her wearing her new sweatshirt.
She is hilarious and so cute. Her favorite day of the week is Sunday, when she can just sleep all day on the couch next to my husband and me as we fold laundry, grade, and watch TV. She also has a profound love for bacon snacks.
Please let us know if you're interested in adopting this adorable little girl!
