Default Jack the Yorkie

Someone pulled "Jack" out of the Karma shelter. Jack is a yorkshire terrier, but he is a larger yorkie. Later she decided she wanted something smaller, so she left Jack at Dr. Pet. Jack has been there for many weeks now, mostly living in cages. He hurt his paw and it was bandaged with a splint. Thankfully it is healing well and he gets around good even though he has a busted paw.

Breed: Yorkshire terrier
Sex: male
Health: Healthy, yet had an injury to his left paw.
Size: is a larger yorkshire terrier
Adoption fee: 50,000 won

I am not sure how old he is, maybe a few years. He is not very advanced in age and is far from puppyhood.

Can you tell us his weight? (Or is he too sensitive about that....)
Is he neutered?
How is he around other dogs?
Does he bark much?
Has he had his teeth cleaned, checked for heartworms, etc?
How is he around children?

He looks soooo sad....
Thanks!

Jack is friendly, neutered, likes people and other animals.
It looks like he's going to the USA this week! If all goes well, he's going to become a U.S. citizen!

Hello everyone, Jack is still at Dr. Pet. The adoption didn't happen after all.
Can someone please consider fostering/adopting him? He has been in a cage for a long time.

Hi, Is the adoptor in America now? Is the high cost of shipping the reason for not getting him? I'm bringing Panda here this month and he actually ended up costing me a LOT more than I expected to rescue and foster him. So I won't be rescuing anymore. I doubt I can recoup $8oo for the rescue/shipping fee when he's adopted here. When I told people $400 to get a yorkie from Korea, they walked away. They just wanted to buy mine (probably cheap!) Conversation something like this: "You have so many. Give one to us." My response: "You have 4 kids. I have none. Give me the little one."

But, If that person is near Atlanta, maybe Jack could come with Panda and it would be cheaper...if that's all it is. I'm willing to pick him up and deliver within a reasonable distance. Just an idea.

The person who was going to take Jack to the USA has already left. Thanks.
I just hope that someone takes him soon.

He's a very sweet dog ! I saw him today he gets along with other dogs and likes to play around. He's good with other dogs too. He gets very excited on walks since he's probably in a cage all day at the shelter. But he's good on the leash. Since he is a yorkshire terrier he will not shed or cause problems for people who are allergic to fur. He's a bundle of energy but a joy to be around for someone who has the time to play. Definitely not aggressive at all. Please consider this sweet boy

Jack on his walk! He walks great on the leash only thing is he gets really dehydrated so a water bottle during the walk for him helps. At one point he got so tired he just plopped right on the floor with his legs all sprawled out it was adorable!
