Policy on adopting a dog from me: *Whole family must agree on adopting the dog
*Must pay for all of its medical needs after adoption
*Must know how to train/housebreak a dog or else will need to learn
*Must see the dog before hand, can not adopt the dog on that day. (Exceptions: if you live far away, traveled over 2 hours...)
*Must fill out adoption paper and send an update of the dog after adoption along with a photo within the next two months of adopting
*Must agree to a lifetime commitment (can not put the dog up for sale nor adopt it out after initial adoption)
*Adopting the dog out after initially adopting the dog leaves a lot of stress on the dog, so please make sure you are ready for a lifetime decision!!
*Must let me know if dog dies of sudden death or transmittable disease (i.e. Parvo or distemper-this helps me with the animals I had at the time of foster that animal)
*Must have keep a nametag on the dog at all times with the adopters contact information
*Must take dog back to your home country no matter what!
I will not adopt out to anyone who does not fill out the adoption form.
It can be found at www.animalresucekorea.org

->How to Adopt
->3.Pet Adoption Application
I will not reply to anyone who does not fill out the adoption form.

I filled out an application when I started fostering. Ryan and Kathy both have a copy of it, would you still like a copy? This is just for future reference. How do we make donations?
No, it's okay. I do have a different form that you have to fill out though upon adopting him.. Are you interested in adopting?
I will be putting him on the sponsership page for the donations... So far it is going to cost me 150,000 won.
They did say that he isn't really getting better but he is stable, his cough is still as bad as it was before. Hopefully he gets well soon~!~

So far till today it is going to cost 200.000 won because of all the tests from the first day. (xray,shots,distemper test)
They said he isn't improving much and may need to stay 7 more days maybe.
As soon as the sponsership page goes up, please do help me... (:
The less I have to pay the less the adoption fee is.(I like to get reimbursed in my fees as that way I can help out more animals..)

I'm interested in adopting a dog but my husband wants us to wait a little longer. Choco was just adopted out and we still have Sasha, and that's fine, but with what issues we've had around the house lately he wants to wait before we adopt or foster another doggy. We decided that after a pet gets adopted out we're going to wait a few weeks at least before we get a new one. I'll be more than happy to donate money to this little guy in the meantime though.
Just got back from the vet and taking Lionell to another vet(Dr.Pet). We paid 200,000 won at the 24hr vet and are hoping to make it back as much as possible. He'll have to stay at Dr.Pet for maybe 5 days and it'll cost 20,000 won per night so maybe around 150,000 won - 200,000 won more because of the tests Dr.Choi performed. We did a CBC check and his white blood count level was nearly double... Please keep him in your thoughts and hope he gets better fast!!

So it's safe to assume you'll be at Dr. Pet Saturday? If so then I'll try to make the trip out there Saturday as well. I'd like to see the other pets available as well. Is the parvo outbreak still there?
That's fine too. Sorry I'm such a hassle. Maybe Kathy could give it to you? I owe her 150,000 won in adoption fees for Choco and Captain Jack anyways. If that doesn't work then we'll figure something out.
Sarah, have you tried the on base vet? I don't think they charge an overnight fee. That and since I'm fostering Sasha, and don't own her, they haven't made me pay for everything. Her shots and x-ray were free.
I'm going to arrange a visit to Dr. Pet with Kathy sometime soon and I wanted to know when you'll be there so I could pass it right onto you. When will you be there for around the next 2 weeks or so?
he's able to go to a home now?! Yay! I'm free wednesday so I can check with the hubby if I can go if it's cool with you. Can we only adopt on Saturdays or can we do it any day of the week at Dr. Pet?
I may be able to bring Lionell home soon! We were expecting to bring him home sooner but sadly he wouldn't regain appetite... and now he has!! Yay! As soon as I am able to have my nebulizer arrive I will bring him home!
*I payed for his vet bill (some of it, couldnt afford all of it) and it costed me so far about 400,000 won and will cost a little more until I can pick him up.
I would like to give a special thanks to Tania for her very generous 100,000 won donations towards Lionell! Thank you Tania!
