Floyd was found wandering around a University outside Seoul. He has obviously been someone's pet but we were unable to find his owner.
He is in foster care in Yongsan (very close to Noksapyeong & Itaewon).
Nana looked after Floyd for a short period of time before we could find full-time foster care for him, here is what she had to say:
"Sex - Male
Age - 2
Neutered - Yes
Vaccinations - completed
Housebroken - Yes
Breed - Who knows?
Size - Around 13-14 cm high at the shoulder, maybe 8-10 kilos?
Floyd is an eager-to-please young man who was found wandering north of Seoul looking very confused by this turn of events. He has a "hit-the-deck" submission reflex and get nervous when picked up or touched around the neck by strangers, suggesting he'd been hit. When he first entered foster care, he was even afraid to pee while anybody was watching. Some treats and the wonderful example of his foster brother dog have cured him of that phobia.
He is very smart - he learned "sit" and "stay" in just a few days. Floyd likes to exercise and would do best with daily walks. He also gets anxious when left alone for too long, so he would do best in a household where he was not alone for more than a few hours at a time. His favorite thing in the world - after treats, of course? Lying next to you on the sofa (or ON you, on the sofa!) lazing the morning away. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would make a great second pet"
And here is what his foster carer Bonnie has to say about him:
"He has been a star! He is totally trained now not to mention very sweet and easy to have around. I would highly recommend him to any family. I have found no drawbacks - He doesn't bark, he is very submissive and seems to enjoy being around people very much! He has been easy to walk too."
