Re: Daegu Dogs: New weekly videos of dogs available for adoption
I am interested in the corgi in the video (1:46) to foster and possibly adopt. However, I live in Seoul, and I don't have a car to pick up the dog in Daegu, so how can I bring him/her back to my home city?

Re: Daegu Dogs: New weekly videos of dogs available for adoption
Hi everyone, I have recieved quite a response from the video this week. I will not be able to get back to everyone before the holiday. However I promise I will asap.
Anyone is welcome to come down and meet the dogs at the shelter. You will not be able to adopt or foster without submitting an application. But feel free to go and visit them. The shelter is open 10am to 6:30pm, 7 days a week. Pleae remember Monday is actually the holiday and the hours will be adjusted. In fact usually on this day they only come in to care for the dogs but will not recieve visitors this day.
Kat, there are many ways to transport a dog from Daegu to Seoul. You can always rent a car and drive, you can carry them on the train with a carrier, and you can always fly them, which is actually surprisenly quite cheap. But before adopting KAPS will have to screen your applicaiton. YOu can down load it from this site, once completed just email it to adoptbullies@gmail.com. Once KAPS has screened it I will get back with you asap. Most adoption take 5-7 days to complete.
thank you everyone for your generous consideration for our sweet k9s...btw we also have a cat house!

Re: Daegu Dogs: New weekly videos of dogs available for adoption
I havent been to the shelter recently to get a video, however we still have many of these same dogs available. The Corgi at 1:47 and the Boston at 2:10 are def still waiting, both of these are quite healthy too
Oh and Mr Bear at 0:54 is still happily bouncing around his cage waiting for someone special to come adopt him!

Re: Daegu Dogs: New weekly videos of dogs available for adoption
Finally got an updated video! I actually took this video 5 days ago, Oct 5th, but Youtube has been given me fits this week Anyhow please let us know if you would like to apply to adopt any of these babies. As always we have many purebreds in the shelter...in daegu there are so many pet shops; on one road in downtown Daegu on any given day you can find at least 100 puppies for sale Which usually for many of these dogs it is a 2-5 year journey from pet shop window to the shelter. These babies didnt ask to be born, bought and then abandoned; but they are here so now lets help as many as we can!
Also, KAPS is losing many of their foster homes to finished contracts, so we are looking for new foster homes...if you would like to learn about fostering contact adoptbullis@gmail.com!

Re: Daegu Dogs: New weekly videos of dogs available for adoption
I have recently sent you an email, but the email address does not work.
I have recently joined the Animal Rescue here in Korea, where I got your information. We are looking for a border collie puppy, and we wanted to adopt instead of going to a breeder or waiting till we got back to the States.
Can you please let me know if you ever get in a border collie? I would really appreciate it.
Thank you!

Hi there, I am sorry we are a bit behind as many changes are occuring right now.
As far as border collie puppies, I have not seen many border collies in Korea. In fact I have only seen 1 in the shelter in the 2 years I have been with KAPS.
Perhaps if you post here on fbk, then other shelter works across Korea can help you locate one: http://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/106254800455/
