Default Adorable, Unusual dog at Karama

I noticed this picture of this adorable looking dog at Karama. He is just so unusual looking and I can't stop thinking about this little one but our landlord has recently put his foot down with regards to pets and said no. Is anyone able to foster this little thing, or else does anyone know of a way that I can get it into Dr Pet - I would be willing to put some money towards medical costs and could travel to Karama.

Hi Kitty,

He's so adorable! Maybe this will be seen more if you put him on the Adoptable forum Just an idea! Hope he finds a loving home

I did try to put this in adoptables but it ended up here so maybe an admin decision. He's just so precious - he looks like a little gremlin.

Dr Pet will be doing renovations so won't have room for any new animals. Why dont you see if you can pick it up. Any vet will take in an animal that has the pet hotel.

Then maybe you can try to find someone to foster it. More information about the dog will be good like age, if neutered etc.

Yes, I didn't approve the listing for the adoption section because there was no adoption fee. Please see the Adoption Listing Rules and feel free to resubmit. I put the thread here so that hopefully people could still work on getting him rescued from death row in the meantime.

I know - I just went to your landlord to offer to pay more rent if we could take him in but it's a big no go. I'm wondering whether I can hide him, but if he's got any kind of bark we'll be found out in a matter of days.

He's listed as 3.4kg so very small. There is some more info about him in the adoptables section now. Karama is in Seoul. I don't know where exactly but I could help or even come with you if you wanted to go and get him.

Oh, I wish people wouldn't be so afraid of letting animals in to a rental. Especially a small little man like this. He is sooo timid and his time is limited at Karama. I wish I could go get him. Any body? Is there anyone that can take him before he is no longer there? SUCH a unique little man.

Very cute! Looks so shy. I'm not sure but looks like a Chihuahua-Pomeranian mix. Is he that silver-gray color? When I saw him I thought it was a black and white photo!

AS you may see in the adoptable section we have decided we just can't let anything happen to this little guy. We have him on hold at the moment and KathyKAt is picking him up tomorrow along with a Yorkie puppy. They are going to be temporarily boarded at a vet in Seoul. We have already had some interest in the Yorkie puppy. I am going to go and see them before work on Tuesday morning and perhaps see if I can smuggle them into my flat for a few days. If anyone knows of a foster of adopter please do let us know urgently.

So I called Karama this morning and it seems that this dog has been reserved. I asked Minnie (Karama adoptions) to let me know if his adoption doesn't go through.

Oh, also, I just want to say that in general, it's not a good idea to board pets at the vet directly from Karama. Because there is an incubation period of 10~14 days for parvo and distemper, it is an extreme hazard to the other animals at the vet. Kitty and I had decided to board them temporarily, but since I know the risk, I would only have let them go to a vet who could keep them seperate from other dogs and eachother^^~!

Thanks Kathy. I was having the same thoughts myself as I see his pic is still up today. The yorkie puppy did get adopted so that is great news.

Hi! Yes, I asked again last Friday, and they said he was adopted and that we was so popular. I don't know why he is still there on the site though? Can you try calling them just to make sure? I've asked twice now and both times they said he was spoken for. I don't think they would lie about it. They know that I'm always happier when a dog does get adopted 'on it's own' because then I can help (or help someone else help) another one in need. But adoptions do sometimes fall through. Anyway, their number is 031 867 9119 if you could just call as a 'stranger' and ask^^ Thanks!
