I have two small Maltese dogs that need a pet sitter for a week. They are quiet ( hid them from my old landlord as I wasn't allowed pets), house trained and crate trained. They get along with all other animals and they love kids.

I have family coming and I will be in and out of my city so much it will be hard to take care of my dogs during that time.

Ideally I need someone from the 17-24th but if someone can take care of the dogs the 17th to the 19th or the 20th till the 24th that would be great.

I am located in Cheonan but can bring the dogs to Seoul or any city near of in between.

Please let me know if you can help me out.

I need a sitter for my foster. He is 1.5 yrs old and energetic. Needs lots of love and to be welcomed into a family or single person home. He is potty trained, playful, loving and obedient. He has not started DHPPL yet so he needs to be in a DHPPL vaccinated animal home. He will be recovered from all illnesses by Cheusok...so he might have had his first DHPPL shot by then.
He eats a homemade diet...non vegetarian. I would give whomever some extra won for his food.
Thank you!

little Muji is looking for a family

Animal Name: Muji

Age: About 3 monts old
Sex: Male

Rescue story: Muji...

Animal Name: Muji
City/Location: Seoul, Junggye on line 7
Breed: pure mix!
Age: About 3 monts old
Sex: Male
Neutered : No
Rescue story: Muji was surrendered to me by a desperate friend.
Size: small to medium he's got small paws so he shouldn't get that big
fur: he's got short hair with a downy undercoat, he won't be a long haired dog

Health status/ vaccinations: He was checked out 1 month ago by a vet and was very healthy except he had a case of round worms. He is over it now as it took 4 days to get rid of. He had some tick and flea treatment done on the back of his neck and had some other shots to keep him healthy

Behaviour/Personality:

Muji is super smart, I trained him to use the pee tray in 1 week. Now he goes on it on his own without me having to prompt him, he also never misses!. He's not destructive at all and can be left to roam around the apartment as he keeps wires alone and likes chewing on his toys and cardboard toilet rolls. He does have a fascination with my shoes but only because its rubber and he probably likes the texture ^^. I'm surprised on how calm he is and has no problems being alone for 8 hours. He knows the command sit! and I'm working on stay right now ^^

So the story how I got Muji was my friend had bought a puppy one month ago from a lady near the subway station near her home. The lady had a box full of puppies. She felt sorry for them and took one but did not think that she would be leaving Korea in 3 weeks and could not take him with her as he was too young. Anyway it was irresponsible for her to take him and it was either I take the puppy or have him condemned as she would of given the puppy back to the lady. I couldn't bear the thought of him being brought back to the streets because he was just rescued so I decided to take him temporarily from her. I've got three more months here and I thought I'd at least train Muji so that when he goes to his new home he would already be toilet trained, which he is now :).

Please consider this adorable sweetie, he's got nothing but love and kisses to give.

Adoption fee: 65 000 Won to be donated to Dr.pets

He will come with his carrier, Pee tray, scented pee pads and some of his food, his toys, leash and collar, his water and food bowl and his shampoo and towel.

Meet Marty :)

Marty is a cute little yorkshire terrier currently living in the rehabilitation area of the Asan shelter. Although he only has vision in one of his eyes this hasn't affected his spirit! He is super smart, friendly and loving.
Marty walks well and gets along with other dogs. Unfortunately his pen mates are not very nice to him. It would be great if he could get out to be fostered or adopted!
Since he is small I think he would be very easy to transport, whether with you around town or to your home country. :D

If you are interested in fostering or adopting Marty please contact me:

The shelter accepts abandoned and owner-surrendered animals on a space-available basis. The shelter depends on donations collected by the CenTex Humane Society.

"2nd Chance Shelter" opened in 1998. It is currently home to over 200 animals. Full-time employees and volunteers work seven days a week caring for the dogs and cats by inspecting their health, keeping them cleaned, fed, watered, and exercised.

(With Sarah, The Pit Bull Terrier Mix. Sarah was brought to the shelter in June of 2008, she was found.)

When dogs are taken in by the shelter, they are dewormed, given DHPPC and bordatella and tested for heartworms. They are given a brief wellness exam by a vet and given a rabies shot. If they are old enough, they are started on heartworm preventative and spayed or neutered.

Cats are fel/fiv tested and if found negative recieve FVRCP shots. They are given a brief wellness exam by a vet and given a rabies shot. If they are old enough, they are given feleuk and spayed or neutered.

The animals at the "2nd Chance Shelter" are kept until they find homes.
Hello! I currently live in Suwon and have recently come across a cat with about 4 or 5 newborn kittens. They are currently living underneath the stairs on the first floor of my apartment building. Unfortunately, they are a bit of a problem (vomit and feces are piling up around peoples doors). I am very concerned for the well-being of these cats as well as the well-being of myself and the other residents in my apartment building. Is there anything that you guys might be able to do to help? I understand that ARK does not have a shelter, so understand if there is nothing that you can do. However, if this is the case, any other information or contacts that you could give me would be greatly appreciated! Thank you very much!

The cats are still hanging around my apartment, but I don't know for how much longer. I'm afraid they might move on to seek other shelter. Rescue story : I believe she has only been at KAPS for about 2 weeks-a month.

Adoption fee : KAPS adoption fee applies.

Rescue story : She has been in the shelter for 3 months now. We were out on a dog walk when Sunnan noticed a man kicking his dog. She approached him to inform him that their are animal protections laws that forbid that sort of behavior. He insist "this is my dog, I will dog what I want to do with it." She insist further that he didnt have the right to do so. They went back and forth for a bit and the man finally extended the dog her way and said "FINE! you take it." She said "I will." And she took the dogs from his arms and he was left flabbergasted that she actually wanted the dog. :D Everyone seems to think that he said take it to kinda call her bluff.
*100,000 krw if we spay her at our vet before you pick him up.

Mr. Darcy in Daegu (KAPS kitty)

* Animal Name : Mr. Darcy (Or just Darcy, or sometimes Fitzy depending on how I feel =] )
* City/Location : Daegu, South Korea [this is ~2 hours away from Seoul via the KTX -- I'm willing to travel to deliver him]
* Breed : Short-haired tabby?
* Sex : Male
* Spayed / Neutered : Neutered
* Age : ~5 mo.
* Size : He's pretty small still.
* Health status/ vaccinations : We'll be hitting up the vet this weekend, but he seems to be in good health. No skin irritations or ear mites, and he doesn't seem to be in any discomfort.
* Behaviour/Personality : Hilarious. He LOVES to snuggle, and he's pretty vocal-- he meows at everything, but not in that "junkyard cat in heat" way. I think he thinks he can talk.
* Rescue story : I'm not really sure. He came into KAPS about 3 weeks ago. It's strange, because he's REALLY people-friendly. BUT his tail is broken and healed/fused, so I'm thinking either his tail got caught in a door or he had a short period on the street. He spent a few sad weeks in one of the kitten rooms of the KAPS house until I went there looking for my next foster and his little eyebrows called out to me. :)
* Adoption fee : 100,000 W donation to KAPS asked, as KAPS is actually in desperate need of funding at this time [we're in the process of moving our dog shelter]. Therefore, this fee is negotiable to 50,000 W. Adoption fee includes his neutering, vetting, toys, food, litter box, etc.

Darcy is a hilarious little kitty, and sometimes I think he might think he is human. He often tries to use my computer, has tried to strum my guitar, and he talks to me, himself, and his toys regularly. As I type, he is laying down watching me type this up, actually. He's a pretty funny guy.

He is fine at home by himself while I am at work, though I generally keep the door to my bedroom shut (not that he's done anything when I forget and leave it open).

He also has a habit of sleeping right on your face, or near it, at night, and has no problem walking on your head to get to the best possible spot on your pillow (and breathing his cat food breath in your face haha). He's young yet, so he's inquisitive and persistent for affection. The longer I have him, the better he is about not following me from room to room (or meowing indignantly when I close the door to the bathroom.)

One of his favorite activities is snuggling, and he will spend hours at a time just curled up near you or on you. He also gives love nips, where he gently nibbles your fingers to try to get you to pet him or give him love. It's very cute.

Darcy is a great cat, and he's been a delight to have so far. I'd like to see him go to his permanent home, with or without other cats. If you're looking for a funny, affectionate, and playful kitty, you've found him. :)

If you're in the Daegu area, I'd be happy to have you over to meet this funny kitty before. If you're not in the Daegu area, you're welcome to travel here, or message me to set that up.
