Hello All,

On May 10th I sent home the first of six rescued Korean dogs to Canada. The remaining 5 dogs flew with me on July 21st to Canada where everyone of them is doing so well with their new families.

The doggies are as follows:

Ziggy
He was rescued by another member of this forum from certain death-a man was going to stomp them to death:O He was fostered by her until a friend back home fell in love with him, I fostered him for 6 weeks and he recently joined his new mommy and daddy Carlo and Sally in their apartment near the beach in Toronto.

Atti
She was rescued starving and full of heartworms by a lovely Korean girl. SHe then lived for 7 months at the Emart vet in Daejeon. Korean families weren't interested in her because she was a mutt, her only hope was a foreigner. Sarah was looking through my facebook and saw her video and fell in love with Atti, she adopted her that same day! Atti now has 4 cats to play with, a yard and 3 walks a day! Plus she has a wonderful mommy who absolutely
adores her---AND and god-mommy (me;)) who gets to visit her for playdates.

Jack-Jack
He was rescued from the Daejeon shelter, my sister had seen his picture and fallen in love, but my mom said "no" to having a dog:( However, in memory of my recently departed grandfather (A HUGE animal lover) my mom decided to allow my sister to foster a dog if I managed to get one to them. I went to the shelter to bring a few friends to adopt and when I met Jack I KNEW he was fated to be my nephew-and when he licked my chin I was a goner:) So I surprised my sister (and mom) with Jack last month when I stopped over in Toronto. My mom and my sister have decided to keep him:)

Ollie
We rescued him from daejeon shelter in Feb. Mrs Jung brought him to us before we even entered the shelter and told us he should be Bibi's brother. We decided it was fate, we were a bit worried because he was SO TERRIFIED. He didn't walk, eat, pee or move for days and he always looked like he was ready to bite:O he wouldn't go near Bibi and he growled constantly but I quickly got that under control. Soon he was walking, and starting to be affectionate but he has really come out of his shell since he arrived here. He has his mom and dad, brothers and sisters and even a grandpa and grandma who love him. He even plays now, and he gets so excited to see us-its the best feeling in the world!

Minnie Mouse
We rescued Minnie in march. She was another doggy from Mrs. Jung's shelter and as before we let Mrs. Jung choose for us. She pointed out two little girls, they only ones in their cages, so sad and scared. We couldn't leave either of them behind so I made an arrangement to jointly care for the little white dog-Angel and to take Minnie in as our foster. I love this dog, she is the sweetest cuddliest dog I have ever seen. She was still very skittish and would wet herself when she was frightened but now she just barks at the offending object-she is brave enough to stand up for herself!

Bibi
She was our first dog in korea, I saw on this site and I fell in love with her ears! They are huge! She was rescued by Pukka:) who will forever hold a place in my heart for getting her out of Mrs. Jung's shelter. Bibi has always been well adjusted and she loves everyone. SHe is my baby! And she has become the apple of her grandpa's eye!

I want to thank Tim for arranging to get Atti and Jack to the airport and to everyone who helped me get these doggies home.

Bibi, Ollie and Minnie joined their new brother Oscar and sister Panda (my rescued retriever mixes) and my rescued cats Mo and Poppit.
