Cheers everyone!

Tim and I are heading back to the dog shelter in Daejeon in 2 weeks (on the 11th). I will be bringing some donations (thanks to Alisa, fistface, and Jessica!).
If we can gather enough people, we would like to clean the cages like last time, and maybe also get a chance to clean/walk some dogs this time.

Everybody is thus welcome to contribute to this day trip to help some animals feel better. Bring friends, food, and any donations you might think of.

I am copying the info from last time (sorry Karen) as I am too lazy to repost the SAME info...;)

General Info:

Date: Saturday, August 11th
Time: to be confirmed
Meeting Place: to be comnfirmed according to who is coming
Contact:Annie at ansauvage@yahoo.ca

Volunteers Needed To:

* clean the greenhouse floor (5 or 6 men)
* clean cages
* groom the dogs
* walk the big dogs, play with the smaller ones
* clean up the general area

Donations Needed:

* more wire cages (any size)
* 2 large fans (for cooling the greenhouse)
* cleaning products

Everyone is welcome to come and help! If you would like to join, please post here or call/email me so that I can add you to the list.

I think one other thing the shelter manager needs is dry dog food. I misunderstood the situation originally, she does get donations but it isn't always enough month to month.

She has quite a few toy/small sized leashes from Gregg last time, and a few medium sized bowls already. Not sure she needs more of those.

One thing I think might be useful would be a dog shaver/ grooming kit. If the shelter manager (or a volunteer) could shave those long haired Shihtzus and Yorkies herself... You'd have to ask first to see if the shelter manager agrees -hate for something like that to go to waste- but that's just an idea.

Ok, thanks for the info Karen. Lt. Comm. Lee confirmed that the food is the most needed item. I edited the post.

Thanks Louise! Where do you want to meet? There or before? Is Mark in?

To the others: still time to join ;)
