Hi all!

I am wondering if anyone can help? I have been trying to contact Air Canada Cargo re: transportation of my 2 pups to Vancouver, Canada for about 2 weeks now and have gotten nowhere. I was told it would be cheaper to transport them rather than Petairline but nobody at the Seoul office speaks good English and my Korean friend was told to send a fax with my questions but we have yet to get a response.

Has anyone dealt with Air Canada Cargo in the past and, if so, do they have a contact or some information that can help me make arrangements. I called the main office back in Canada and they absolutely cannot help me. They said I have no choice but to go through the Seoul office. :(

I am getting really frustrated. I am leaving Seoul at the end of August so I want to get this started as soon as possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Michelle :)

They only speak Korean here, and the canadian offices won't help you. I had the same problem. Get a Korean to phone or call Petairline. They basically get paid to arrange the flight for you, and your documents, they use Air Canada cargo. Two dogs with them would cost you about $830.00ish, on a regular flight they would cost $552.00

Hi!

I managed to send an email to Gina at PetAirline and she responded in English with all the details. It will cost be about 1.1 million won to send them and an additional 130,000 won for the carrier. A little more than I was hoping to pay for considering that I am not actually adopting the pets....just making sure that they get to Canada to the people who are adopting them.

Has anyone ever mentioned that they were able to book with Air Canada Cargo directly instead of through a third party? I am going to try and get a friend's boyfriend to call for me but from what I gathered so far...from my limited Korean...is that Air Canada Cargo only books through third parties.

If you or anyone else has had experience transporting dogs home to Canada using another method besides PetAirline, I would like to consider all my options.

Thanks!
Michelle :)
