Does anyone know a vet who does microchipping in Daejeon or near Daejeon?
Thanks!

Is Daegu near enough? (45 minutes on KTX). Dr. Lim at the "Museum Animal Clinic" around Daemyeong does microchipping, and it is a quick and easy procedure. I haven't found anyone in Daejeon who chips.

Thanks for the info! It's not for me obviously, but a person emailed me a month ago asking and I forgot to research while I was still in Korea. Oops.
Do you know how long it takes to do the procedure, does the animal need to be tranquilized or anything (I mean, does it hurt?), and what it costs at the Daegu vet?
I know Chung Wha Animal Hospital (http://www.cwhospital.com/eng.htm) in Seoul does chipping, but Seoul was less convenient for the person who asked me the question.
Thanks again!

The procedure takes a few seconds, and there is no tranquilizer needed. It is just an injection, and our dogs showed no signs of pain during or after the procedure. It cost around 30,000 won.
