When you take in a kitten younger than 3weeks old,the kitten needs to be
bottle feed with Lactol or an other brand, a milk food specially formulated
for puppies and kittens.Feed them every 3/4hours.

This process of feeding also gives the kitten confidence and warmth that
the mother cat would have given. A way to socialize the kitten at the same
time. Rub the kittens belly and around tush with a cotton ball that you wet
first with hand warm water, squeeze the water out and start rubbing the kitten
to help and stimulate to poop.

After the kitten is 3weeks old, you built up other food than the milk. You can
buy special kitten food (Royal canin has baby small bites) and if you give Natural
Balance, you can wet the hard food first with water.
Premium can food between hard food and milk is also good.

Then you try to get them to drink water, they won't do this by themself so you can
use a small spoon or an injection feeder.Ask the vet how to use that.

You stop bottle feeding when the kittens reaches 8/10 weeks old. If you keep this
procedure you will have a quality cat.

Medical care:
Take right away to the vet after recue
Deworm the kitten a few times
Make sure you get the cat vaccinations on the right age.
