This is a message I received from Dr. Park Chang-jin, founder of the Clicker Training Center in Seoul and president of the Korean Society of Human Animal Bond:

I am pleased to inform you that I'm Planning to start an 8 week basic course in English

The course will consist of 8 weekly classes each lasting 2.5 hours.

The course will cover the theoritical background of Behaviorism(Positive Reinforcement) and hands on clicker training using your own dog.
At the end of the course your dog should be successfully responding to commands such as sit, down, come, let's go, heel, etc, in addition to performing some tricks.

I'm confident that you will be able to continue to further educate your dog to follow countless commands.

The class will open provided that 5 trainees register.

The start date is determined by responses to this.

The Class will be take place on Saturday evening from 7:30 - 9:00

Slightly overpriced, IMHO. Plus, most dogs aren't going to have the attention span for a 2.5 hr class.

I seriously wish I knew of a place to hold classes.

do you know of a training school in Daegu? Seoul is too far for me.

Unfortunately there wasn't enough interest for the course to go ahead. :(

Dr. Park contacted me a little while ago to let me know that he'd be willing to offer a free session in English if there was enough interest--minimum 20 people. Please post if you're interested.
