While many vets I've visited know a fair bit of English, not all are comfortable speaking English. I'm imagining this is especially true outside of Seoul and the bigger cities.
Since any trip to the doctor can be stressful, I think it would be useful to build a "Korean Language For Vet Visits" mini-dictionary/mini-phrasebook to make trips to the vet more relaxing for people whose Korean skills are low.
This project entails a few steps, but any small contributions to Step One will get us started:
Step One: gather a list of useful phrases and vocabulary needed at the vet in English
Step Two: post words and phrases in this thread
Step Three: when enough is collected, organize list
Step Four: translate into Korean
Step Five: publish here as a printable file
Step Six: distribute to vet offices
Alternatively, we can skip steps 1-3 if such a phrasebook already exists. If that is the case, please let me know!
