We have decided to formally adopt our foster dog Ollie (whom we rescued from the Daejeon Shelter), he has come so far in the 5 weeks we have had him, and he has really become a member of our family. We still don't think that he would be ready to be put up for adoption, in fact it would take months for him to be confident enough to leave us, and we know that it will be impossible to let him go. He cried today when I took Bibi into the vet's office, he missed me! This is HUGE!!! When we adopted Oliver he could not walk, he was so scared he didn't pee for DAYS! He came from abuse, his ribs have been broken and have healed slightly out of place. He was so afraid he would be hit. To see him recovering, walking proudly, running, barking, being independent, letting me rub his belly...and he has two lovely lady puppies to take care of now...I can't make him start over. So we are giving into the inevitable.
