Hello,
I was at Dr.Pets last weekend and took some pics of some available doggies up for adoption. They were rescued by bohemianvegan and these animals are both friends!. It would be nice for them to be adopted together as they love to be around eachother but if that's impossible that's understandable too.!!
the Yorkie has been in foster homes in the past so it would be great for him to be adopted. Jacks I'm not sure how many homes he's been in but he should also go up for adoption. Jacks would love to be your little lap dog he loves to cuddle and to be held. Apparently he doesn't like walking and will walk for a bit and then want to be carried awww. The yorkie has so much energy and loves loves loves chew toys. The entire time he was out of the cage he just held the chew toy in his mouth not letting it go. He definitely appreciates the little things in life :). They are currently at Dr.Pets still I believe and they hate being in cages. Please consider adopting these guys as they would make an excellent addition to a family or home :) they are very healthy and have no known health problems. They just need a loving person to take them in to their forever home!

Peanut has one working lung. I got him in March? I also got Jack in March.
I moved to another apartment and put Jack and Peanut there while moving. It looks like I'm moving again because the neighbors are complaining about my cats (they make noise) and the place is seedy, so it looks like I am moving again soon.
I don't want Peanut to go from foster home to foster home, because he has already been through five homes. If anyone else takes him I want it to be a permanent home only.
I love Jack a lot and don't want to give him up, but now I am working long days and I am never home. I'm not sure what to do.

Just out of curiosity, is it common in Korea for neighbours to complain about pets and needing to move because of it? I finally have a job and am starting October 15th. The school told me it shouldn't be a problem having a dog in the apartment after I told them I would only accept if I could have permission to have a dog and made it clear that once I got a dog I wouldn't be giving it up. But now I'm starting to wonder how long it'll be before I can expect to hear that the neighbours aren't happy or that the landlore suddenly decided I can't keep pets.
Both dogs are so cute, by the way. I still have my eyes on Ralph the shih tzu and am not even in Korea yet but hope someone helps out with these little guys soon!

I would suggest getting the landlords statement in writinge, both in Korean and English.. It's one of the noly ways to fight against the usual accusation of, "I never said you can have a pet."

I need to have my apartment viewed by other people because I want to move out. I now have to have my pets at Dr. Pet because prospective renters won't want to see pets when they see my place. BLAH. I hope I get out of there soon.

Peanut is coming back to Dr. Pet today. That was his SIXTH home!:( He had some coughing, I was wondering if it was something serious or not. WELL, I talked to Dr. Choi this morning and asked if Peanut can live at the vet's permanently. He will be allowed to walk around and will have a dish and bed. I do think that's the best thing for him, to make the office his new home.

Is Peanut good with other animals? Especially cats? And is he good with kids?
We're looking for dog, not a puppy. One that will get along with our cats, and be loving and gentle with our kids *ages 5 and 10. With out tearing up the house. Please let me know what you think?

That's weird. When I was looking for a place, a few of the tenants whose places I looked at had animals. I'd just be worried if the landlord had a key and was planning to drop in when I wasn't there.

Re: Peanut. If you ever manage to gather sufficient financial resources and perhaps, a person willing to fly with Peanut to Canada, do let me know. I'm in Vancouver, working at a vet clinic.

Jack is still available. He needs a new home ASAP because he hates being caged. Please, someone consider him.
I regret to say that Peanut passed away at 6:30 this morning. He had fluid in his one lung and air around his heart. It was something that went undetected.
He was my pet from March (?) until now. I had to bring him to the vet's because I was moving. I only had him with another person over last weekend. I wished I hadn't let them take him, but he came back in less than 48 hours.
Dr. Choi thought he could be saved. I had hoped he would.
I am very frustrated because nothing seemed to go right. I moved, never got to settle in, had to move again, and just lost Peanut. I loved that dog. I took a look at him in the freezer and cut off some fur to keep. I let Jack sniff him.
RIP Peanut, we'll meet again in a better place.
Now, in honour of Peanut, I hope Jack finds a good home soon.

I know sorry doesn't seem like enough, and there's nothing now that we can do. I wish I had heard of this site sooner, Peanut was a dog yesterday I started to take interest in. Now we'll never know. I am sure that while he was with you, he was happy. And you have to remember you always tried to do what was best for him. Even if it doesn't seem like it was enough at times, especially now, you weren't like some people who would have given up on finding him a home. It's obvious to everyone here (I think) that you truly cared and still do, and I'm pretty sure you dog knew that too.

I MISS PEANUT!!!!
On New Year's Day I thought of the past year and I remembered Peanut. I sat and cried for a while. I miss him so much. I wish that he had survived. The vet said he would be fine and he wasn't. I asked if he could just live at the vet's and have the run of the place. I was shocked to go in the next day and find out he passed away. So upset. I miss him so badly.

It is really sad ... just like with Snoopy, no one knew how serious his condition was until it was too late. I know you did your best to help Peanut and improved his life as much as you could.

Yesterday made a year since I lost Peanut. I miss him so much. I wish I could just hold him again. I just can't wait to meet him again someday on the other side of Rainbow Bridge.
