I just wanted to say "Hi" to everyone in this site.
I watched ZooZoo Club on Sunday (one of my favorite show) and heard of this site.
I love dogs and my family always had a dog. But after my dog Happy went to heaven 2 years ago, I do not have the courage to have another dog. After spending more than 10 years of my life with Happy, I just cannot bear the thought of going through it again. But I want to help dogs that need help. I am sure people in this site will teach me how I can help dogs those are in need.
Hope I did not sound too contradicting.

Hi Terry,

Welcome to the site! I can totally understand that it would be hard to let yourself get attached after such a big loss, but there are so many ways to help animals without adopting. Currently, volunteers are needed to help socialize the dogs at the Daejeon shelter who are still waiting for homes. People meet every Saturday and go to the shelter together. If Daejeon is too far from you, there might be a different shelter closer that takes volunteers. There are more ideas listed on the How to Help (http://www.animalrescuekorea.org/index.php?pageid=help) page. Really, the sky's the limit.
