Hi Everyone!

We are going to have a fleamarket sale at Roofers this weekend (SUNDAY) to benefit animals in need: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=129360343767962

You can rent a table for cheap to sell things you no longer need, baking, used books, anything~!! Please email me if you'd like to rent a table or help out by baking and so on.

Roofers Flea Market

On Sunday, July 25th we will have our first flea market to support animals in need from Animal Rescue Korea. This week we will use the funds to sponsor a previously abused rescue dog who is now fighting distemper. If you want to sell your goods, all you have to do is rent a table. Each table is 5,000 won and the large ones are 10,000won. The flea market is from 1-4. This will be a bi-weekly event. Again, please check our website for more info.

We will have a donation box for Lanell, who in addition to surviving brutal abuse, is now fighting distemper:( http://www.animalrescuekorea.org/forums/showthread.php?p=26164so please bring your friends to Roofers (Itaewon) this Sunday between 1~4pm to have fun, and help this sweet little dog. Lanell deserves to have a lot of love to make up for all the terrible things she has been through before Sarah took her under her wing :)

But ARK is not a charity and doesn't collect money. Do you mean the animals in the Donations forum or one of the shelters where people volunteer?

Ah~ sorry, I just copied and pasted this part from the FB page (posted by Roofers).
I'll edit it. Just to clarify, the feature animal of this event is Lanell, who is fighting distemper. Any funds above and beyond what she needs will be used for other rescue animals in need (perhaps a sponsorship animal or one from Asan).

The shipping can be done by me for 2,500won or if you live near by (yongsan) you can come pick them up yourselves. (:

We raised about 220,000W for Lanell. It's not that much, but anything helps. Thanks to everyone who donated items and to the ones who bought some great stuff too.

This event will be back every month, so get ready for the next one!

I made a donation via bank transfer as soon as I got paid because I could see it was urgent ... but then I didn't go to the flea market. I could really use some vegan dog biscuits for Bangsiri and Pedro, though. Is there any way I could order them from Kia?
