I adopted an adorable 3 year old female rabbit from a girl going back to her native country. I don't like leaving her in the cage too much but letting her out has caused a lot of damage. She has chewed up the wires of my rice cooker, hair dryer and AC adaptor and has started to bite the corners of the walls and tear off pieces of wall paper! I don't know what to do... I can't take much more homewrecking! Maybe someone can give her a better environment where she cannot destroy things.

Hi Scamps,
I'm sorry to hear about all the damage in your house... It sounds frustrating. I've never had a rabbit but I've wanted one for a long, long time, so I was happy to try to research a bit on how to solve your problem.
Here are a couple links I found with articles that may help:
How to Make Your Home Safe for a Rabbit: http://www.ehow.com/how_16529_make-home-safe.html
How to Train Your Rabbit Not to Chew: http://www.ehow.com/how_16488_train-rabbit-chew.html
Training Rabbits Not to Chew and Dig Carpets: http://www.reststop.com/info/bunny/chewdig.html
Rabbit Training: Chewing and Digging: http://www.rabbit.org/faq/sections/training.html#chew-dig
A common theme seems to be using vinegar on things she likes to chew (or bitter apple, but I don't know if you can get that here). By the way, is it easy to find rabbit supplies in Korea? Does your rabbit have a lot of appropriate things to chew and play with?
If these things don't work and you would like to find a new home for your rabbit, please post an ad for her on the new adoptions listings page.
Hope this helps,
Karen

Hi Karen,
Thanks for the tips. However, I have a book on rabbit care, but nothing seems to work. She has loads of toys, but doesn't touch them. If I try to offer them to her to play with, she gets mad and nudges them away or growls and jumps on them...
There is no specific thing she likes to bite, so putting vinegar on things won't help because she always wants to chew something new.
I have found lots of rabbit food in Korea and some toys. I know there's a website where you can order toys and everything imaginable for rabbits in Korea on a Korean website, but it's not available in English...
The majority of the toys I have are from America.
I honestly love her a lot and it will be hard to part with her cute face.
She has been with me since November 06.
She's not entirely bad. Often she follows me around the house keeping me company and nearly everynight, if she's up to it, she'll treat me to a live performance of her bunny breakdancing! Yes, really, she can dance and spin and do other creative moves!
Anyway, I've just posted an ad for her adoption.
Hope she will find a loving and more suitable home.

Just an update to say that I've posted a photo of my gal-pal, Floyd, on the adoptable animals listings, but I have not received any emails or phone calls. She's still available.
