FINAL extension for the Daejeon shelter (http://www.animalrescuekorea.org/forums/showthread.php?t=313) expires June 30th.
City Council has notified volunteers that no further extensions will be granted :(
Saturday trips continue
In the hopes that the numbers can further reduce. Ideally, all the dogs will find loving adoptive or foster homes and not be at risk of euthanization simply because they are orphans. Little time is left. Please help.
How you can help
Though maybe you can't adopt or foster, your help is very much needed to socialize the remaining dogs. The shy ones seem to have let the extroverts get adopted first, but now it is their chance!
New members always welcome!
Please join Tim and other volunteers to walk, groom, and play with the dogs who are still waiting for their second chance to find a home. Bring a leash and collar (and a change of clothes, you will get dirty) and spend some quality time with a furry friend.
Basic Info
Volunteers from Seoul meet at Seoul Station, volunteers from elsewhere meet at Daejeon station, and taxis are hailed from there. Post questions and read updates in the "All About the Daejeon Shelter (http://www.animalrescuekorea.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=28)" Forum or contact Tim (http://www.animalrescuekorea.org/forums/member.php?u=11) for more details.
Thanks so much to everyone who has helped over the past few months. Your hard work has saved so many lives!
