This is mostly for people with large breed dogs and dogs with a lot of energy.
We all know how crazy our dogs become when they do not go out on a particular day or when we do not give them attention or food. However most of us forget that dogs, irrespective of their breed and size need exercise. They must be tired both physically and mentally to behave properly in the house. Ofcourse some dogs have low energy and that means that they are perfectly happy sleeping on the couch for the whole day. These dogs, though, do not receive any mental stimulation. Walks are the best way to stimulate dogs mentally. You have the added advantage of tiring the dog.
However most of us cannot run the dog long enough to tire them. That is where tools come into picture. Roller skates, bicycles, frisbees, harness carts and swimming pools are just a few tools that will come in handy.
Roller skates - Easy to use just let your dog pull you.
Bicycles - In South Korea you can buy attachments to your bicycle so that you can take your dog for a run relatively safe. http://greenbike.ohpy.com/ sells some of these attachments.
Frisbees - Get a good frisbee that does not break. Do not leave the frisbee with your dog as a chew toy. Also get a long lead and keep one end under your foot while you throw the frisbee. You could also use tennis balls for the same purpose.
Carts - Go to a market with your dog pulling a cart. Assuming half the people don't freak out seeing a dog do that, you will be guaranteed a huge discount and smiles. Also the dog is working to get food! What else can you or your dog ask for?
Swimming - If you can find some place in SK that allows dogs into the swimming pools please tell all of us. Swimming is good for dogs because it doesn't put as much stress on their joints as running does.

Please remember that I am making an assumption here that your dog is under control on walks. If your dog shoots in random directions, you should avoid some of the above tools.
I walk real slow when I am training my dogs for obedience and walk fast or run when I want to tire the dog.

Does anyone else have tricks and tips?

Thanks for the info! I am sure it is useful to many people.
I am bad at training dogs, our mini pin still doesn't know how
to behave outside. She barks a lot and she pulls.
Pulling means stopping the walk, well I can become a statue
and she will still pull.I tried to get her attention with her favorite
ball and always have treats with me to give when she behaves
but nothing works.
At home she is the sweetest! Except when we have visitors.
Some people she except and some people she won't.
