Travolta's 2 dogs killed at the airport while on a leash. I know of a teacher in Ulsan whose shih-tzu was killed the same way. Best to pick them up on narrow streets.

Actually, none of the articles I've seen (including the one you linked to) have said anything about a leash (or type). I mention type since I've heard of dogs being run over while on a flexi (seems most people just can't master the use of the thumb brake).
