Bringing Boston back to Ottawa!

I've been searching through the travel forum, called Air Canada and Korean Air and can't seem to decipher a clear answer to bringing our Boston Terrier in to Canada at the end of June.

Here are the details:

My contract ends June 28th.
Breed: Boston Terrier
Weight: 7kg
Height:15 inches

I just called Korean Air and they indicated to me that I CAN bring him on as cargo. Is it safe?

Air Canada has a heat embargo starting June 20.

If I get a connecting flight in the US or Canada, there will be a heat embargo - how do I get him into Canada (Ottawa)?

I have been in contact with Maya at Pet Airline and is most helpful and suggests that I bring Rocky with me as it is cheaper and easier.

How do I get him home?!

If the heat embargo is in place when you fly out, it won't be possible because he's a flat nosed dog. You'd have to ship through Maya I think unless he's small enough to bring as a carryon which probably isn't possible.
