a fundraiser idea...

Hi! I am wondering if you have ever had a partnership with a school for donations. My school is in a wealthy area and it has in the past run programs called "learn to share" where the kids donate some money though it was never mentioned what the money was for. The kids didn't even know about it nor were able to see progress or any results. I am interested in proposing the idea to my principal that would allow the kids to donate money for kittens at a shelter. They could then SEE through photos via computer and projector screen some of the cats they are helping and feel more fulfilled. This could also open up the minds of some parents about adopting animals from shelters or doing volunteer work. Could someone get back to me if you are interested as I will be talking to my principal this evening. Thank you very much!

Hi Katey,

I think that's a great idea and we wouldn't mind sending pictures of the helped ones. We don't have kittens at the shelter where we volunteer at the moment. But we could definitely help pound kittens or even Nabiya kittens if you want.
