I came across a book at work today on the topic of animals & war: Babylon's Ark: the incredible wartime rescue of the Baghdad Zoo (http://openlibrary.org/b/OL9838683M/Babylon%27s_Ark) (2008). Have you heard of it? I hadn't.

I don't recall hearing about the book, but I'm sure I read at least one news article about the Baghdad Zoo ... really terrible ...
